Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 12
1 Help, Lord, for no one is faithful anymore;
those who are loyal have vanished from the human race.
2 Everyone lies to their neighbor;
they flatter with their lips
but harbor deception in their hearts.
3 May the Lord silence all flattering lips
and every boastful tongue—
4 those who say,
“By our tongues we will prevail;
our own lips will defend us—who is lord over us?”
5 “Because the poor are plundered and the needy groan,
I will now arise,” says the Lord.
“I will protect them from those who malign them.”
6 And the words of the Lord are flawless,
like silver purified in a crucible,
like gold refined seven times.
7 You, Lord, will keep the needy safe
and will protect us forever from the wicked,
8 who freely strut about
when what is vile is honored by the human race.
I need some prayers about work and this convention.

What is the convention about?

The reason I ask is that there are business trips and conventions. I have been to both.
I have found that conventions are mostly boondoggles.
Chuck gave a paper at one in Spain last fall.
They enjoyed to trip.

I’ve just pulled the trigger and revealed my hand to a missionary society about my interest in writing about their founder.
Their reaction over the next week will tell me if I’m writing another biography or not. I’m laughing imagining their shock, but am excited, too. They’ll open or close the door on my future, so it’s an interesting moment.
My prayer is I follow where God leads–either here or somewhere else.
Details later.
The family request remains and will influence some of this. I am choosing faith, hope, and joy in the face of fear. The Lord knows what He is doing there, even if it may turn out very hard. People I love are hurting right now and are afraid. I’m trying to be the opposite.

Your last biography is standing you in good stead as you face this trial.
