Time to do the right thing Roy. And at this point, regardless of which side is telling the truth, it’s best to step aside and end the circus. If the allegations are false, you can sue for slander and clear your name. It’s the honorable thing to do.
“For 56 years the most difficult challenge the Houston Astros faced was winning the World Series. Now that they’ve done it, the next biggest challenge will apparently be keeping the Commissioner’s Trophy in one piece.
According to the Houston Chronicle, the championship trophy took a hard fall at the men’s gala charity event on Wednesday night at the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston. Astros owner Jim Crane brought the trophy so that attendees could catch a glimpse, but apparently one person tried to get a little too close. That led to the table collapsing and several of the trophy’s flags being bent.
The trophy was quickly returned to its place and the event continued without any acknowledgment of the damage. The museum has since released a statement explaining what happened, while noting the trophy was restored to its original form before the night was over.”
This article describes how Flynn got to be the National Security Advisor.
Michael Flynn wasn't originally on the short list for national security adviser. Trump overruled his advisers, who had their doubts https://t.co/Nxgp03AGya
I agree with AJ that Moore is toast. Moore went on Sean Hannity’s show (the official organ of The Trump Cult) to deny the pedophile story, and he couldn’t do it. This was described on Twitter by some as striking out while playing T-ball. Hannity’s panel concluded that Moore was lying. Conservatives and liberals alike were rolling on the floor laughing at the debacle.
Putin is really enjoying being able to humiliate the US President. It is pretty obvious he has something on Trump. Trump doesn’t take this treatment from anyone else.
Reason #101 why you shouldn't play footsie with dictators –> After Trump defends Putin's word, Putin says the conversation never happened.https://t.co/QwIKZHfqQA via @shareblue
That whole Flynn story interests me. But not because of Flynn. While it would certainly be illegal to do what they are alleged to have had in mind, it wouldn’t break my heart in the least. Fethullah Gulen and the compound where AK47 fire is a frequent occurrence, are about 30 miles from me. He’s a questionable dude with 100 plus charter schools operating in the US. He’s been operating out of the US because our govt. allowed it. But he’s by no means the good guy here, and the US would be better off without his influences.
And so far the story of the supposed extraordinary rendition is just hearsay.
Tychicus, I thought of you when I read this article by Williamson. In it he blasts Dan Rather and the editorial page of The New York Times, and holds them largely responsible for conservatives’ current lack of trust in the mainstream media. However, note the respect he has for many of the journalists who work for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, etc.
I have been really impressed with the job Maggie Haberman of the NYT has done with Trump. Her sources in the Administration are great, and it is obvious Trump trusts her because he believes she is trying to be fair to him.
The eleven countries other than the US who were to be a part of the Trans Pacific Partnership (the TPP) have announced that they have reached agreement on a new trade deal. The countries include Japan, Canada, Australia, Chile, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand and Singapore. The economies of these countries will continue to grow. The US may slide backward as its farmers and exporters lose markets and its consumers lose purchasing power.
😦 I just finished posting on yesterday’s thread.
I just put out my flag. It’s cold in Greensboro.

OH. It’s Veteran’s Day.
I figured you would know that when I mentioned putting out the flag.
But maybe not.

The TPP was opposed by the Axis of Ignorance (Hillary, Bernie and Trump).
