Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 76

1 God is renowned in Judah;
    in Israel his name is great.
2 His tent is in Salem,
    his dwelling place in Zion.
3 There he broke the flashing arrows,
    the shields and the swords, the weapons of war.

4 You are radiant with light,
    more majestic than mountains rich with game.
5 The valiant lie plundered,
    they sleep their last sleep;
    not one of the warriors
    can lift his hands.
6 At your rebuke, God of Jacob,
    both horse and chariot lie still.

7 It is you alone who are to be feared.
    Who can stand before you when you are angry?
8 From heaven you pronounced judgment,
    and the land feared and was quiet—
9 when you, God, rose up to judge,
    to save all the afflicted of the land.
10 Surely your wrath against mankind brings you praise,
    and the survivors of your wrath are restrained.

11 Make vows to the Lord your God and fulfill them;
    let all the neighboring lands
    bring gifts to the One to be feared.
12 He breaks the spirit of rulers;
    he is feared by the kings of the earth.

    Prayer for daughter. She seems talkative but less hysterical than the past few days. Sounds like she is stabilizing. She is adamant she wants to play basketball this year.
    Prayer for son who will be homeless in a few days and has not been working. He is burning his bridges around this area and without a GED, it does not look good.
    Prayer for other son (sixteen). I asked him this morning if he is more like Christ since his last conversion. He thinks he is. I pointed out that his anger seemed more under control.

  4. Sounds like the wedding is off for now. Seems son did not make curfew and the shore patrol had to go retrieve him so he lost his leave to come home and get married. Daughter is out three thousand dollars for her preparations. Grandparents had bought tickets but should be able to get them redirected, they fly often enough.

    Anyway, they both could learn something about following directions but this is a hard way to do it. It could be much more difficult. Pray they pay attention and remember God.

  5. Prayer would be appreciated for “Liz. She has been sick to her stomach with a lot of cramping and pain the last 3 mornings. We spent 4 hours at the E ward this morning. She came downstairs sweating, but cold to the touch, in extreme pain, and white as a sheet this morning. She was wobbly and nearly passed out. I took her to the hospital. They gave her an IV and something for the nausea, did some blood work, an xray and a CT scan. Turns out she has a very large spleen, and an ovarian cyst. It doesn’t appear to be the bad kind but she needs to see the OBGYN on Friday for a sonogram. Thankfully Mom’s doing that. 🙂

    She resting, but freaked out by it all and a little scared.
