So sad about Las Vegas…and so many things happening that are causing family and friends distress.
A home across the street and two doors down is getting a new driveway. Heavy equipment started making big noise before daylight.
I have to prepare for the women’s meeting on Wednesday. At least we have a cleaned out storage closet. It seems there is so much happening lately that I have a difficult time focusing.
One thing that happened is that our main credit card got used by someone, but the charges did not go through. It happened on the day I shopped at my brother’s store. It was definitely not related to anything he did. They have registers up front to check people out after departmental people print up sales tickets. I have not found out the location where the attempt to use my card originated. I only know it was used for a Sprint mail order purchase that got declined. It now means all my automatic monthly charges and a few other on file accounts need work to process the number change. Also, since there has been a security breach with a credit bureau, I need to consider if I should put a freeze on our credit. Has anyone ever done that?
Indeed. And yet, we know Who knows the number of our days when He formed us. And we know we are living eternally and this is just one small portion of that. But it hurts.
Kim is not going to be available for a bit and I said I’d handle anything we want to do. Most of you can find me, the rest can use the contact portion of my website which is available by clicking on the photo.
In our town, we had a town stand out removed from life support two days ago. She fell and bumped her head. Death is so devastating. But, as we heard in the sermon yesterday, we all face it. None of us know when. Leave nothing unsaid.
I haven’t been to the prayer thread yet. But I’m afraid of what I will see.
My power has been off and I didn’t drag out my laptop. And I don’t know how to use my phone for internet. My laptop likely needs a charge anyhow.
Concerning the Las Vegas shooting. A man on the radio said “the perpetrator is currently deceased” It took me half a second to realize that he’s saying the gunman is dead.
Some people are in the wrong job.
It was good to have daughters and son over the weekend. We would not have seen daughter had it not been for the death of her brother. Perhaps his death will motivate toward healing here. Perhaps the same will happen in Karen’s family. I hope so.
Several people have approached me about sending a gift. If you would like to participate, let me know by Saturday. I’ll send you my mailing address, collect funds and send the gift next Monday.
I also have her contact information. I don’t think she’d mind me sharing with you–but via email. If you don’t have my normal address, I have a public gmail account: michelleuleauthor@
Had the privilege of picking up my friend from the airport this morning. I met her right by the tram, where I would like to be met, not outside on the curb. I got to hear her stories all the way home of how God is working. They are looking into moving her parents one last time. God is working out every detail. I laughed when she told me what had occurred as that was exactly what I had prayed. She has said something to me several times that I have never heard anyone say before. She keeps saying, ‘you must be a righteous woman, because He is answering your prayers.” What a thought.
First!

Thanks, both of you.
It is difficult to know what to do or say.
