Prayer Requests 9-15-17

It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.

Anyone else?

Psalm 34:1-8

I will extol the Lord at all times;
    his praise will always be on my lips.
I will glory in the Lord;
    let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
Glorify the Lord with me;
    let us exalt his name together.

I sought the Lord, and he answered me;
    he delivered me from all my fears.
Those who look to him are radiant;
    their faces are never covered with shame.
This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;
    he saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him,
    and he delivers them.

Taste and see that the Lord is good;
    blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.

  1. Love this Psalm passage. I have tasted and seen that the Lord is good, and I am praising Him today.

    Thank you for all your prayers for my husband and me as we weathered marital storms. Through those prayers, and with some conversations with wise people inside and outside our church, as well as discussions my husband and I have had alone, things are going much better.

    I am thankful for God’s working in both our lives, and that He has placed around us various individuals who understand the difference between biblical submission and destructive submission. One brings unity, the other tears apart.

    Praising God for the healing and restoration He has wrought. The loving man I married is back, and I have discovered now how much more energy I have, by God’s grace, to live as the woman God intended me to be.

    Thank you, all, for everything you’ve done on the prayer front. God hears and answers. I am filled with gratitude.

  2. The irrigation seemed to stop the “bleeding”, but when they stopped the irrigation, it started again. The doctor is consulting with a nearly urology group. This is getting so frustrating & perplexing, as you may imagine.

    Please pray for a quick resolution to this problem. Thank you.

  3. Oops. I wasn’t finished but I hit Post anyway.

    He is remembering all the difficulties God has brought us through, & knows He will bring us through this, too. Still, it is a hard thing to face, & as always, it is the uncertainty that is hardest of all.

    God bless Nightingale, she is doing so much for us. During our drive to the hospital yesterday, we were talking about Hubby not going back to his job, & the loss of income that will mean. She said that we would rather struggle financially & have him around longer than to have him push himself, & lose him earlier.

    I don’t know what Chickadee is thinking & feeling, but I know she is affected by all this, too, & she has been particularly sweet with me.
