It’s Wednesday, so don’t forget to pray for The Gambia, and for Ajisuun as well.
Anyone else?
Psalm 127
1 Unless the Lord builds the house,
the builders labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city,
the guards stand watch in vain.
2 In vain you rise early
and stay up late,
toiling for food to eat—
for he grants sleep to those he loves.
3 Children are a heritage from the Lord,
offspring a reward from him.
4 Like arrows in the hands of a warrior
are children born in one’s youth.
5 Blessed is the man
whose quiver is full of them.
They will not be put to shame
when they contend with their opponents in court.
Nothing to pray for? Well, let us praise God that our lives are so blessed. And for Who He is. And for what He has done. Then let us plead with God for KBells and crew and for anon and family.

Today I’m writing the letter of recommendation to the university that my 17-year-old piano student just applied to. The admissions office contacted me yesterday, stating the type of information they’d like included in my letter, which was an unexpected and helpful email to receive. However, I am having some difficulty composing my thoughts — probably overthinking things. I’d appreciate your prayers as I draft the recommendation. I want to get it in the mail tomorrow. Thanks.

Focus on the strengths you’ve observed in the girl and why you think she would be a good fit for that particular skill.
