Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 98
1 Sing to the Lord a new song,
for he has done marvelous things;
his right hand and his holy arm
have worked salvation for him.
2 The Lord has made his salvation known
and revealed his righteousness to the nations.
3 He has remembered his love
and his faithfulness to Israel;
all the ends of the earth have seen
the salvation of our God.
4 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth,
burst into jubilant song with music;
5 make music to the Lord with the harp,
with the harp and the sound of singing,
6 with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn—
shout for joy before the Lord, the King.
7 Let the sea resound, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it.
8 Let the rivers clap their hands,
let the mountains sing together for joy;
9 let them sing before the Lord,
for he comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness
and the peoples with equity.
I spent part of my morning filling out a questionaire for a job I applied for yesterday. Facebook has an app Jobs Near Me. I clicked on several and have heard back from two.
I am trying to take my own advice.

That’s always the hardest to take . . . I speak, of course, from experience. 😦

VBS starts in a couple of days. Eleven year old has been counting it down, he loves VBS. Prayer for the folk putting it on and for hearts to be open to the Lord. And wisdom for me as to whether to send both fifteen year olds to the same event, will their be enough oversight?

Youngest GD, Jennifer, loved VBS. She would attend several in different churches each summer. They seemed glad to have her.

Nightingale got a piece of mail from Social Security. Turns out that Mr X is now on Disability due to being diagnosed with schizophrenia. We’re not sure we agree with that particular diagnosis, but he definitely has some form of mental illness. So, as his son, Little Guy is eligible for SS payments.
But of course, this brings up in my mind the fear that Little Guy may some day end up with the same mental health issues. Please pray for healing of his mind, his brain, etc., & most of all that God will draw him (& his dad) to Himself very soon.

That is great news for Nightingale. Tell her to apply. It could really help her out to have some financial help.
Don’t borrow trouble. 😉

Kim – Yes, she is applying for it. We figure it will fill in for the child support that Mr X won’t pay.

And don’t let opportunity get past you.

Kizzie, I agree don’t borrow trouble. If it helps, the one person I’ve known with schizophrenia has three adult children and three adult grandchildren, none of whom have had any problem. Prayer for Little Guy is always in order, of course.
