All of you know I would never VOTE for Trump or Hillary. However, I have decided to ROOT for Trump on Election Day. Here are my reasons:
1. You have all seen the list of unpleasant leftists who are going to leave the country if Trump wins.
2. He is OUR sexual predator.
3. There is a good chance Trump could lose interest, go back to New York and let Pence run the government.
4. He probably won’t actually be able to undo trade deals, start a trade war and cause a depression.
5. He has conned millions of Americans. Maybe he can con other world leaders on behalf of America.
6. Trump is 100 times funnier than Hillary. Imagine how great Saturday Night Live and the late night comedians will be with Trump as president.
7. You can get to Hillary with bribes. You can get to Trump with flattery. That should produce humorous behavior by business executives and other world leaders.
8. You’ll be able to tell your Trumpkin friends, “I warned you he might do something like this.”
9. I’ve been looking for a way to get other countries to stop imitating our toxic culture. Trump is the answer.
10. Do you really want to have to listen to Hillary’s voice for four years?
Cheer up RickyWeaver. There’s plenty of fun to be had either way. And the next firmly anti-globalist candidate we get from the major parties will probably make Bernie Sanders look like a moderate. So there’s always something to look forward to.
Debra, The next “firmly anti-globalist” candidate is going to look like John Edwards without the baggage. Politicians aren’t wise, but they are cunning. Protectionism, anti-corporatism and nativism are the new “in” things.
Peggy Noonan explained the model: A sane Donald Trump. On the Democratic side, the model is a less goofy Bernie Sanders
All we are going to get from both parties for a while is “anti-globalism”.
From a Facebook friend. I’ll be back in a while to tell you the answer, but I think someone will guess. . .
“Who said this, and of whom was he referring?
‘As it turns out, character DOES matter. You can’t run a family, let alone a country, without it. How foolish to believe that a person who lacks honesty and moral integrity is qualified to lead a nation and the world!
‘I just don’t understand it. Why aren’t parents more concerned about what their children are hearing about [his] behavior? Are moms and dads not embarrassed by what is occurring? At any given time, 40 percent of the nation’s children list the President of the United States as the person they most admire. What are they learning from [him]? What have we taught our boys about respecting women? What have our little girls learned about men?
‘I am left to conclude from these opinions that our greatest problem is not in the Oval Office. It is with the people of this land! We have lost our ability to discern the difference between right and wrong.’ “
When I read “John Edwards” in your post, my mind immediately went to Jonathan Edwards. Now *there* is the real hope. :–)
Yes, and finally globalism is “out” (as it should be, in my opinion). But whatever the movement, corruption is bound to find a niche for safe harbor…until we stand before the only legitimate global Authority at judgement day.
Your “day-brightener,” as one conservative blog puts it (adding that while there are concerns about Trump affecting down-ballot Republicans, Clinton may drag down other Dems with her in this election)
“In the twelve weeks since the party conventions concluded in late July, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has received significantly more broadcast network news coverage than his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, but nearly all of that coverage (91%) has been hostile, according to a new study by the Media Research Center (MRC).
In addition, the networks spent far more airtime focusing on the personal controversies involving Trump (440 minutes) than about similar controversies involving Clinton (185 minutes). Donald Trump’s treatment of women was given 102 minutes of evening news airtime, more than that allocated to discussing Clinton’s e-mail scandal (53 minutes) and the Clinton Foundation pay-for-play scandals (40 minutes) combined.
For this study, the MRC analyzed all 588 evening news stories that either discussed or mentioned the presidential campaign on the ABC, CBS and NBC evening newscasts from July 29 through October 20 (including weekends). The networks devoted 1,191 minutes to the presidential campaign during this period, or nearly 29 percent of all news coverage.”

To be fair to the press, what other candidate in history?
1. Got in a weeklong fight with Goldstar parents;
2. Renewed an accusation that an ex-opponent’s father was an associate of Lee Harvey Oswald;
3. Got in repeated spats with the leadership of his own party;
4. Completely failed to prepare for the first debate;
5. Got in a weeklong dispute with a former Miss Universe over her weight;
6. Encouraged Americans to “check out” a non existent porn video of Miss Universe:
7. Was revealed to have appeared in two porn videos;
8. Accused himself on tape of committing multiple sexual assaults;
9. Threatened to sue women who confirmed the accuracy of his own confession;
10. Claimed that some of his victims were not attractive enough for him to sexually assault.
Trade, like healthcare, is a complex issue which is almost never addressed intelligently and accurately by presidential candidates. The success of conservatives in crafting and enacting free market solutions in those two areas will determine whether our grandchildren live in a wealthy nation or a nation in economic decline.
AJ’s link and Ricky’s rebuttal points out the fallacy of equivalency. Its not bashing one opponent or favouring an other. One candidate simply deserves more negative coverage.
Los Angeles (CNN) Maybe it’s his rapidly approaching return to life as a normal citizen. Or the knowledge that, two weeks from Election Day, his preferred successor is enjoying a decisive edge over Donald Trump. Or maybe it was just the West Coast vibe.
In California this week, a loosened President Barack Obama left few Republicans spared in a fierce reproach of the party he now has little reason to placate. During a political swing through oceanfront gardens and tastefully appointed living rooms of La Jolla and Beverly Hills, Obama expanded his ire beyond the GOP presidential nominee in a cutting and specific fashion, savaging his longtime political opponents as craven, hypocritical and ultimately responsible for their own demise.
“The things that you’re hearing Trump saying, they’re said on the floor of the House of Representatives all the time. The Freedom Caucus in the House of Representatives are repeatedly promoting crazy conspiracy theories and demonizing opponents,” Obama told donors crammed into a modern art-bedecked study in San Diego. “Donald Trump didn’t build that. He just slaps his name on it and took credit for it.
With Democrats confident in their presidential chances and gleeful in their attempts to tie down-ballot Republicans to Trump, Obama’s barely constrained distaste for the opposition party has exploded in the fading days of the campaign. …

1. She said she didn’t have any classified emails on her bathroom server.
2. Then she said she didn’t know what the “C” meant on her emails.
3. Then she said there weren’t very many classified emails anyway.
4. Then she said the classified emails on her bathroom server weren’t illegal anyway.
5. She destroyed 33,000 emails while under a congressional subpoena.
6. She destroyed 13 “mobile devices” with a hammer or broke them in half.
7. The FBI pretended to investigate her but did not record her testimony or put her under oath.
8. She couldn’t remember anything anyway in the testimony she gave to the FBI.
9. Despite outlining criminality that has sent everyone else to prison, FBI Director Comey did not recommend prosecution.
10. Bill Clinton met privately with Obama AG Loretta Lynch in her airplane one week before Comey chose not to recommend an indictment against Hillary.
11. In her Wall street speeches we learned that she recommends saying one thing to one group and quite another to others, and in fact often doesn’t even personally believe what she says to anybody.
12. As Secretary of State she has no accomplishments other than a hideous string of extremely poor decisions.
Then there’s the perjury, and on and on it goes. Compare that to rw’s list – so which candidate deserves more negative coverage?

Globalism is only “out” in the US, Venezuela, North Korea and a few other places. The rest of the world has chosen the free trade model.
