Please pray for my friend, Karen. She is not suppose to do ANYTHING because of her malady. I need to be a BIG help to her today (surgery is tomorrow) and most likely after surgery. I feel a bit stressed by it all. Please pray that I will stay well and able. Thank you so much for lifting me up in prayer.
My friend Carol is struggling at the rehab she’s in (she needs to be on an antibiotic IV through probably Wednesday). Her roommate kept her up most of the night Sunday into Monday yelling and demanding food (until about 3 a.m.). Another man down the hall is a screamer as well.
I’m hoping last night was easier for her, she sounded close to tears (of frustration) when I talked to her yesterday. She asked for a new room but they were having trouble finding an open bed in another room for her.
She left me another desperate voice mail today (I was in the middle of an interview) but when I called her back about 2 hours later, she said she was “better.” One of the issues was that her roommate’s things blocked Carol’s path to the bathroom, so they switched beds for them. Now Carol is next to the bathroom. She felt bad that she was getting so angry over it all, but I told it was understandable.
She gets what should be her final IV antibiotic round tomorrow, so hoping she gets out of there by Thursday morning if not sooner.
