Please pray for Lindsey….she missed all of last week of school….we saw the pediatrician three times…blood work came back normal…but she’s been extremely tired and nauseous and having a lot of migraines….She’s going to school today but still feels badly….They tested her for Lyme, but those results won’t be back until tomorrow.
Discouragement over the house and all that needs to be done. It feels overwhelming right now.
Carol also is back in the hospital, but should be getting out today — another drop in her potassium. At least she got a room with a window this time, but she said it looks out on one of Hollywood’s numerous, towering Scientology buildings.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ. Phil. 4:6-7
I came here to request prayers for some much-needed perspective. That passage is a great answer, DJ, as I’m fighting irritation that my plan for the day has been derailed by something that was preventable, and some related anxiety due to the circumstances.
But good could come of it, and I need to remember to pray and give thanks, and not fume and stew.
Prayers that I can make the best of the rest of the day, without the grumbling spirit that wants to stay with me.
Kizzie, Take a sock, put salt in the foot of it, heat it in the microwave and let him hold the warm sock full of salt to his ear. It will make it hurt less…many is the night I have slept in a rocking chair with a salt sock on my shoulder so BG could sleep.
My friend’s heart surgery is scheduled a little later this month. I may go with her to pre-op. At least Art’s surgery had a positive outcome so that helps with being more hopeful about friend’s surgery. And I am thankful there has been a break between the two surgeries. Prayers appreciated. My friend has been through so much.

ah, part of my Bible reading this morning:

Praying for you, Kim and DJ, also.

Donna, one of our docs mentioned the other day that potassium will not stay without an increase in magnesium also. Just a thought.

Little Guy has a bad ear infection. He is on medicine for it, but it is still very painful. Please pray for quick healing. Thank you.

Said a little prayer for Little Guy.
Well, the day wasn’t a total loss, and one of the things I worried about didn’t happen.
But now 5th Arrow is sick — threw up earlier, and is lying down, still moaning with a stomach ache.
And I’m trying to get the sour puke smell out of the living room couch. 😦
One of those days. Thanks for prayers.
