I have some things swirling around in my head that I need to make sense of and address. Some of it has to do with my issues trusting people. Some new hurts have dragged up the emotions of old hurts and I need to deal with them again. I am by nature a very trusting person and time and again I trust only to end up hurt when they prove untrustworthy. After a lifetime of this I am finally starting to learn to filter what I tell people and what I share so that they won’t use it against me, but it is hard for me and goes against my “nature”. Only this week I started to tell someone something but realized I needed to shut up because I was about to hand them to ammunition to hurt me in the future.
Hubby had to go to the clinic today. That makes seven visits now for our family since July 3 — once for hubby, twice for 6th Arrow, four times for 4th Arrow.
Tomorrow 3rd Arrow goes to the oral surgery clinic for wisdom teeth removal.
I am overwhelmed and just trying to focus on “Be still and know that I am God.”

We had a camper who was bitten by a bat this week. She’s had to go for rabies shots and will have at least 2 more rounds of the treatments. The bat was chased out of the cabin so this is all preventative but still…
