  1. The Dem convention has begun:

(CNN) A meeting of Florida Democratic delegates descended into chaos when outgoing Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz took the stage Monday, with critics holding up signs with the word “Emails” and Bernie Sanders supporters booing the congresswoman loudly, even after she began speaking.

“We have to make sure that we move forward together in a unified way,” Wasserman Schultz said during brief remarks. “We know that the voices in this room that are standing up and being disruptive, we know that is not the Florida that we know. The Florida that we know is going to make sure that we continue to make jobs.”

The audience was roughly half supportive of Wasserman Schultz and half detractors, though the angry participants were louder than the other half. Those attendees began to chant, “Shame! Shame! Shame!” while Wasserman Schultz was speaking. …

  2. I’m wondering if the WikiLeaks people will be posting things all week and if the media, which should be totally ashamed of itself, will cover it?

My paper only mentioned the story today–and the leaks came out on Friday.

Seems like the WikiLeaks folk are just interested in distrupting everything. (No surprise there)
But, as I like to pray: “let truth be revealed.”

  3. You have to admit, it was timed perfectly….. 🙂

And the hits just keep on comin’….

“Democratic National Committee documents recently released by WikiLeaks include spreadsheets and emails that appear to show party officials planning which donors and prominent fundraisers to provide with appointments to federal boards and commissions.

The documents, which were circulated among top DNC officials in April, could raise legal questions for the party, says Ken Boehm, the chairman of the National Legal and Policy Center, a government watchdog group.

“The disclosed DNC emails sure look like the potential Clinton Administration has intertwined the appointments to federal government boards and commissions with the political and fund raising operations of the Democratic Party,” Boehm told The Daily Caller.

“That is unethical, if not illegal.””

    Which perfectly describes Clinton….

  4. These two just makes me smile…. 🙂

“House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) and Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D., Fla.) both were booed at a breakfast for Florida party delegates on Monday.

The disgruntled delegates started interrupting and booing individuals who were slotted to speak at the event the day the Democratic National Convention is set to start.

“Members of the delegation repeatedly disrupted the lineup of speakers, including House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, with protestations against Clinton and cheers for her erstwhile primary rival, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders,” Roll Call reported.”

“Bernie Sanders supporters took to the streets Sunday to protest with the same controversial lines that had been used by Republicans at their convention last week.

The Wall Street Journal reported that protesters chanted “lock her up,” with some wearing “Hillary for Prison” T-shirts, as they marched in Philadelphia the day before the Democratic National Convention.”

I love it. They encouraged the Sanders crowds when he was bashing Trump, but now they don’t know how to reign in the masses they riled up. Should be fun to watch.

I hear the under/over on how many days it will take the far left protesters to tear down the perimeter fences is 2. 🙂

  5. And here’s a quick rundown on the Wikileaks leaked. There’s plenty more at the link. This is just a sample.

“DNC member killing horses for insurance money.
DNC making fun of black womans name.
DNC telling each other, “I love you too. no homo.”
DNC requesting a pull an MSNBC commentary segment.
DNC controlling the narrative with time released stories.
DNC conspiring to create false Trump information and release with Reuters.
DNC Hillary supporters infiltrated Sanders campaign.
DNC members going to complain to Morning Joe producers about his mentioning of a “rigged system.”
DNC discussing their relationship with NBC/MSNBC/CNN and how to get better treatment.
Super PAC paying young voters to push back online Sanders supporters. Paid shills.

  6. 60 Minutes chose to not include this when they aired the Clinton-Kaine interview… it appeared as an on-line extra.

Hillary couldn’t address the DNC e-mail leaks, and then she said that she didn’t watch the GOP convention yet went on to analyze everything that happened during the entire convention. If her party is under attack and she doesn’t know anything about it, I’m sure she would work hard at keeping us safe and being on top of national security threats…

  7. Yikes! Last week we heard from Republicans who made one very bad choice and want us to support him. This week we hear from Democrats who have been making very bad choices for their entire lives and now want us to support all of them … forever.

The old lunatic Trump is looking better by the minute.

  8. Ricky. like you, I don’t like Trump.
    I fear his dictatorial personality.

    1. He doesn’t think the Iranians are our friends.
    2. He doesn’t think the police are our enemies.
    3. He ain’t Hillary.

  9. Chas, Your vote is more important than mine. North Carolina could be close as it was last time. If Texas is close, that means Trump has been annihilated.

  10. If I lived in a competitive, swing state I’d feel much more conflicted. As it is, I’m in a solidly Democrat state that’s not competitive at all so my abstaining from voting won’t really make a difference in the big picture.
