Thanks for praying for my traveling friends. They got home safely and found their cats thriving and also pleased with my efforts to freshen up things in their home. The cats even seemed to work through some differences on their own without human interference. New dynamics between them in a good way. They are all siblings from the same litter. My friend said she really needed this getaway and could not have done it without my encouragement and support.♡
NancyJill I didn’t respond over the weekend but it is hard when siblings and family is in turmoil. As I have said before my dad was 1 of 12. Two of my aunts are master level nurses with one being a professor. When my grandmother had a colonostomy my stepmother (a retired nurse) drove over an hour to help my aunt the caretaker and teach her what to do when 1 aunt lived 10 minutes away and the other 30 minutes away. When Aunt V needed to take care of something personal my dad sat with my grandmother.
One morning Aunt V went out to get the paper, It wasn’t there. She called the newspaper and was told the subscription was canceled. The Executor Aunt had canceled it to save money.
There has been very, very few times I was thankful to be an only child, but at least I never had to fight anyone over what to do for a parent and no one ever accused me of anything.
I truly am sorry you are going through this. I feel we know your heart and know it is in the right place. Perhaps you can try to remember what Mumsee said above. We love you.
Carol fell and is going back to the hospital (she’s had symptoms of low potassium for a few days now, falling is usually in the latter stages – but nothing broken, thankfully
Youngest has a headache and stomachache and fever of one hundred two. What is going around now? Prayers for health and wisdom on dealing with this. Thanks.
