It’s Thursday, so don’t forget to pray for Jo, her students, and the people of PNG.
Anyone else?
Psalm 47
¹O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.
2 For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.
3 He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.
4 He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.
5 God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.
6 Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
8 God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.
9 The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.
Grades are due on Monday. Please pray that the computer program we use will work properly. So far there is nothing that I can post until then. I have done assessments and I have a spreadsheet that I made of the report card and printed so that is where I am entering things.
Thank You for another day in which to praise You for all the mighty acts of goodness You are accomplishing throughout this needy world. We feel the fallout from sin, and it hurts, makes us cry sometimes outwardly and always inwardly, yet we do not totally despair. We have the everlasting hope in Jesus. Thank You for all that means. We don’t know the depth of it!
Please give Kim and BG safe travels and keep them healthy throughout their travel time. Please keep them in an attitude of hopefulness and may their dreams of a better life and relationships come true as only You can make that happen. They are going to great effort and expense to try and resolve long time issues. Please, I ask most fervantly, that this will be the point of breakthrough to new levels of understanding, getting rid of selfishness, and reaching out in new found ways of communicating love as Christ loves. Please, no wasted opportunity. I pray all who are on this adventure with them will likewise benefit. Please keep things going smoothly on the home front in their absense. May hearts be searched and may any sins be recognized that need forgiveness or repentance and be cleared up through this absence so a fresh start can be one of Your blessed good gifts.
Lord, I continue to thank You for Jo and all she means to those who know her. She is like a treasure vault opening to each child and person she interacts with as she shines out Your love, help, and heart of goodness, all precious gemstones that bring joy. Please bless her during this season in all her needs. Give her safety in travels and may she never know the lonesome feeling that use to be her companion. Help her to soar with good feelings of being Your beloved meant for greater purposes than she could ever have known in her former life.
Lord, the need for prayer is often overwhelming. Others have not yet mentioned needs of this day. You know before they ask. Please continue in Your helps with all mentioned on previous threads. I add my voice with all others here lifting all expressed and unexpressed needs to You. Especially help Michelle as she writes that obituary. Thank You for gifting her with the best way to write what she never ever expected to be writing.
Praying for Kim and MrP, that their hearts would be softened toward one another, and that all bitterness would melt away. Praying that God would restore.
