Psalm 42
¹As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.
2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
3 My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?
4 When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday.
5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.
6 O my God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore will I remember thee from the land of Jordan, and of the Hermonites, from the hill Mizar.
7 Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.
8 Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the day time, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.
9 I will say unto God my rock, Why hast thou forgotten me? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

11 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
Please be in prayer for my family today and for the coming week. My husband’s youngest daughter is coming to our house and bringing 7 year old grandson to stay for a week. This is her first visit to our home in the almost 6 years we have been together. They will be driving 5 hours to get here. Erin is a lesbian, something my husband is in denial about, and is seeing some one who lives 1.5 hrs from us. Please pray that we can reflect Jesus to her, and offer good influences and new skills to the grandson.
Continued prayer for eighteen year old daughter as she continues to try to reconnect the bridges she burnt while “in love”. The entire family is reaching out to her, of course, but her guilt is something she will have to accept for what it is and the forgiveness that is offered. She will either go back into anger and bitterness or she will grow and be wiser. Thanks.
Prayer also for seventeen year old. He continues to be bombarded with drinking opportunity. I am letting him attend the graduation and safe and sane party following, and he knows I have a breathalyzer and drug test and know how to use them. He also knows that if he fails either, he will no longer be driving and driving is important to him. Thanks.
This just in from Anya’s mom! Thanks for your prayers, please continue, but this morning we can rejoice.
GREAT NEWS!!!!! We just spoke with the surgeon and Anya’s transplant was a success!! He stated that Anya did really well throughout the entire surgery🤗 The icing on the cake is that it appeared the cancer was only centralized in her liver!
The wife of a ex-coworker has inoperable brain cancer and has been given 1-4 weeks to live. They have 7 children between the ages of 3-21. Her name is Joy.
