It’s my brother’s birthday so I am considering calling him and singing the Happy Birthday song. He might consider it a rude awakening. Probably not, though, since he has chickens, he already had the rooster rude awakening. Early bird gets to bother brother first.
Anybody who ever said dealing with emotionally disturbed people was easy was lying or emotionally disturbed or had a lot more emotional strength than I have. Fortunately, I know God and I know He can supply the need. Prayer please. Thanks.
Thank You for hearing our every concern. Nothing is too trivial or too major to bring into Your throne room. We never have to dread telling You about something for You, unlike people, are shock proof. You are aware of our worst and best and love us through it all. Thank You for listening, loving, disciplining, and comforting when needed. You are our all in all, above all, and forever and ever all good. I don’t know if that made sense, but words are never sufficient to properly praise You.
Lord, Mumsee has spoken of troubles with the youth at the Nest. You know the details. You know reasons behind the feelings that are instigating trouble. Please soften any hearts hardened toward Your best solutions. Please comfort hearts overwhelmed with despair and emotions running out of control in dangerous directions. I pray Your peace and calm will settle things down that have moved out of bounds. Please reel in the lost lambs. Confine them to the sheep pin until they can be trusted to do what is right. Please help Mumsee and Mike to manage…give supernatural supplies of wisdom and guidance so their thoughts run ahead to correct behavior ions before they have a chance to blossom into tragedies. Thank You for how You are at work this very moment at the Nest. Thank You for the beauty of the landscape there and all the opportunities the young are given to thrive there. In Jesus’ name, Amen
I just talked to my friend, Karen, and her husband is better but still has shortness of breath. Thanks for praying. Karen was telling me how strongly she believes in prayer.
Please pray for my pastor & his wife to be able to have a baby. They have been trying to start a family for five years.
Also, I’m lifting up the names of Ricky, Katie, Andy, Rachael, Josh, Emily, & Chrissy for salvation. (The other names in addition to my daughters are the grown children of two other mothers I talked to today who are burdened for their children’s salvation.)
Pray for my mom. Last Sunday we lost her sister. Today she fell and broke and cracked several bones. It does not look like she will be able to attend the Celebration of Life for her sister.

Dr.’s appointment tomorrow for my shoulder. It would sure help to get that fixed and out of the way.
