“It could be very civil, or there could be a lot of conflict,” warned Sanders’ senior strategist, Tad Devine. “It’ll be up to her to set the tone. We’re ready to do whatever the circumstances dictate. He’s very happy to answer questions and talk about issues, but if she is going to attack him, he’s not going to take it.”

That new Fox News poll is devastating. Trump spent ten days trying to commit political suicide and he rose in the polls. It feels like the Republican Party and the country are both going off a cliff.
I keep coming back to the thought that God is in the process of destroying the U.S., and He has blinded us so that we will be the agents of our own destruction.

My editor asked me last night if I thought Trump would win the nomination. I don’t know, I said. It’s all made me rather numb at the moment.
But Trump’s poll numbers are still riding high for the primaries coming up in the next several weeks. Unbelievable.
