  1. Hillary’s e-mails included exchanges between her and President Obama which are being withheld, using Executive Privilege. I suppose Obama would want to do that rather than admit that they were classified and involve himself…

    http://www.nationalreview.com/article/430706/obama-hillary-clinton-email-problem

“To summarize, we have a situation in which (a) Obama knowingly communicated with Clinton over a non-government, non-secure e-mail system; (b) Obama and Clinton almost certainly discussed matters that are automatically deemed classified under the president’s own guidelines; and (c) at least one high-ranking government official (Petraeus) has been prosecuted because he failed to maintain the security of highly sensitive intelligence that included policy-related conversations with Obama.

From these facts and circumstances, we must deduce that it is possible, if not highly likely, that President Obama himself has been grossly negligent in handling classified information. He discussed sensitive matters on a non-government, non-secure e-mail system that could easily be penetrated by foreign governments (among other rogue actors). By doing so, he left an electronic- and paper-trail that was outside the government’s tightly secured repositories for classified information. He also personally indulged, and thus implicitly endorsed, Clinton’s use of private e-mail to do government business.”

    Huge conflict of interest?

  2. Trouble in paradise?

Donald Trump’s campaign is increasingly falling into disarray as the Manhattan billionaire braces for a loss in Wisconsin that could set him on course for an uncertain convention floor fight for the Republican presidential nomination.

Since March, the campaign has been laying off field staff en masse around the country and has dismantled much of what existed of its organizations in general-election battlegrounds, including Florida and Ohio.

Last month, the campaign laid off the leader of its data team, Matt Braynard, who did not train a successor. It elevated his No. 2, a data engineer with little prior high-level political strategy experience, and also shifted some of his team’s duties to a 2015 college graduate whose last job was an internship with the consumer products company Colgate-Palmolive. Some of the campaign’s data remains inaccessible….

  3. And this is an interesting read:

    http://www.nationalreview.com/article/433650/alt-rights-racism-moral-rot

    _______________________________

Last week, Breitbart writers Allum Bokhari and Milo Yiannopoulos took it upon themselves to pen an apologia for the “Alternative Right,” or Alt-Right — the grab bag of ostensibly right-wing anti-liberal ideologies whose disciples, of late, are thrilling to the rise of Donald Trump.

The Alt-Right has evangelized over the last several months primarily via a racist and anti-Semitic online presence. But for Bokhari and Yiannopoulos, the Alt-Right consists of fun-loving provocateurs, valiant defenders of Western civilization, daring intellectuals — and a handful of neo-Nazis keen on a Final Solution 2.0, but there are only a few of them, and nobody likes them anyways.

In other words, anyone familiar with Yiannopoulos’s theatrics, or Breitbart’s self-appointment as Donald Trump’s Pravda, will not be surprised to learn that the article is a 5,000-word whitewash. But it is valuable, in this way: It exhibits, albeit inadvertently, the moral and intellectual rot at the heart of the Alt-Right. …

  4. Why don’t the people stomping on the flag move to a country they do respect? My son, the Ethiopian was all pro Ethiopia and was going to move back there and start a business, until he went back to visit his bio mom a couple of years ago. Now he is all American and not interested in living there or even much in visiting there anymore. It appears this really is the best place to live and some of those other countries are really not quite the same. For now.

  5. Kim’s governor: See ya?

Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley could soon face impeachment over a sex scandal as frustration grows among state lawmakers.

The scandal ignited last month when audiotapes surfaced revealing a sexually-explicit conversation from 2014 between Republican Gov. Bentley and a longtime staffer named Rebekah Mason.

“When I stand behind you and I put my arms around you, and I put my hands on your breasts, and I put my hands on you and pull you in real close. Hey, I love that, too,” Bentley appears to say to Mason in the tapes. …

  6. I’ve believe Mumsee was referring to these disrespectful and racist agitators.

    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/04/05/flag-stomping-protesters-fueling-tensions-at-trump-other-events.html

“In a year when political tensions already are running high, a group of protesters is fueling the acrimony by showing up to political rallies and events with a large American flag – and stomping on it.

The members of the self-described “F*** Your Flag Tour” most recently popped up at a Donald Trump rally Sunday in West Allis, Wis. They posted themselves next to the line of thousands of people waiting to get into the Republican presidential front-runner’s event at the local high school.

They proceeded to lay the muddied flag on the ground and stand on it, triggering heated exchanges with those nearby.”

“Members of the movement told that Fox News stepping on the American flag symbolizes their stand against black oppression, pointing specifically to recent controversial killings of black men by white police officers, such as the Laquan McDonald case in Chicago. “

  7. This one? Well, as the site I found it on said, no, this ain’t The Onion….. but it should be.

This lunacy has gone far enough. They’re not happy with just messin’ up the kids with their insane ideas, but now they’re after our kitties as well. Enough is enough with this stupidity.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/inspired-life/wp/2016/04/05/dont-laugh-i-have-a-serious-reason-for-raising-my-cats-gender-neutral/

“My new cats were freaking out. In carriers in the back seat of the car, they yowled their displeasure. I reassured them: “Don’t worry boys, we’ll be home soon.”

Whoops! I had called them boys, when in fact they were girls. An understandable mistake, as I’ve had cats for about 50 years, and all of them have been male. “I’m going to have to work on using the right pronouns,” I thought. And then another thought: “Why? They’re cats.”

That’s when I decided to raise my cats to be gender neutral.

The cats’ lives wouldn’t change, I reasoned, and it would help me learn to use plural pronouns for my friends, neighbors and colleagues who individually go by they, their and them. Even though using they, them and their as singular pronouns grates on many people because it’s grammatically incorrect, it seems to be the most popular solution to the question of how to identify people without requiring them to conform to the gender binary of female and male. It also just feels right to refer to people as they wish to be referred to.”

“But at the same time it’s necessary. People are coming to understand that not all of us fit into the “girl” box or the “boy” box. Those who don’t are claiming space to be who they are. We all need to find ways to acknowledge and respect that. My way of respecting it just happens to be raising my cats gender neutral. You can choose your own.”

    ———————————

    😆

But what about what the cats want? Did she even ask their opinion, or is she forcing her gender binaries on them?

I can’t decide if she needs to be publicly mocked or put into therapy. Or medicated…. 🙂

  8. Best comment from the comment section on the cat one….
    ————————————

“You have a tortoiseshell cat. All alive and well Torti’s are girls – it is linked to their chromosomes. For your Torti to be a male it would have Kleinfelter Syndrome and die prior to reaching the age your cats are. If you want to understand more about your little Torti girl read about Dominant Epistasis.
Your Orange tabby girl is rare – only 20% of orange tabbys are girls. You might want to read up on her genetics too, it’s pretty interesting.

Deny their gender all you want but it’s in their genes. As are the diseases each may suffer – linked to their genes.

Or you could forget science and go the feelz ”

The woman’s ideas have little basis in the science of it all. It’s all about the emotion. Talk about anti-science…..
