Yes, but that’s not the only reason.
I see that Henderson County went against the rest of NC in the primaries.
We voted for Cruz and Sanders.
Western Carolina can’t determine which way NC will go.
The Winston Salem, Greensboro, High Point triangle, and Raleigh-Durham- Chapel Hill triangle, along with Charlotte swamps everything done in the west.
In almost everything. It’s almost a different state.
Same in Virginia. North of Fredericksburg is a different world.
FoxNews reports that Trump is warning of riots if he is denied the nomination.
Thais man is dangerous. Trump or Hillary could be the end of America as we know it.
This is serious business. I’ve already voted.
We need to pray.
Trump may or may not be dangerous if elected president. I don’t think there’s really any way of knowing. It’s definitely a gamble, a calculated guess either way.
Chas, you & Elvera need to vote more often next time, maybe venture out into some different counties.
I’ve seen a couple articles/political blog posts now that suggest Trump’s bluster is just that — and that, if elected, he’d more likely turn into a technocrat-style, rather non-partisan/centrist leader after the fashion of an arnold schwarzenegger. That, of course, isn’t a great prospect — but better than what a Clinton administration would bring us.
Still, there’s no guarantee that he wouldn’t turned out to be a crazy person. 🙄
It’s all an unknown at this point and either side carries more risk than many of us can fathom right now.
I think Trump is woefully unqualified and a buffoon and would be a terrible guy to vote for, but I doubt he’d accelerate our decline any more rapidly than Obama has or any other candidate would.
I agree. Which is why Carson is trying to salvage what is there and turn the thing around. He said he was in to serve us and serve God and to try to help our nation to make a turn around. Just as God uses the tools at hand (us), Carson is trying to follow in His footsteps. We need to be praying that he does not slide down the slippery slope with the rest of the crowd. I know, there are a lot of folk who thinks he already did.
The moment that defined the two major candidates was when Trump paid Hillary and Bill to come to his third wedding and they showed up. Our choice is between a megalomaniac who feels the need to pay a disgraced ex-President and his spouse to attend his third wedding and that spouse who apparently will do anything if the price is right.
If you were one of the other Republican candidates, would Two Corinthians 6:14 prevent you from agreeing to run as Trump’s running mate?

Correction to my statement above, Asheville is a liberal city. Hendersonville is conservative.

Chas, many years ago North Carolina was part of my sales territory. It was almost like 3 different states: The Mountains, Research Triangle, The Coast

Which is why Carson opted to endorse there. It is only four or eight years more of alarming stuff. Now, if he is going to be pro abortion on us…..
