Hard decision coming. I’m so flustered, I cooked dinner an hour late last night and managed to destroy a pot of rice, needing to throw it away and start over.
And there is my poor husband patiently walking me through it again from every angle.
Wisdom, peace, confidence and joy.
Please.
Oh, and an App,e spell check that will stop changing my words! Lol
Like Michelle, I too am facing an important decision. Well, not necessarily one decision, but a whole lot of cumulative small ones with potentially life changing consequences. No, nothing to do with marriage. There is a lot going on in my life right now, but it is all under the surface and I find it difficult to talk about. To many heartaches and disappointments in the past, too many dark clouds on the horizon.
Phos, if those dark clouds have to do with your career, be advised:
They are giving nurses signing bonuses in Henderson County.
And it’s a delightful place to live.
If you can put up with old people, that is.
Lots of stress and group depression at work. We’re trudging through another uncertain time as we await word later this month on whether our company will be selected by a judge to purchase a (bankrupt) newspaper company in an adjacent county. If we lose & it goes to the competing bidder (the Times), who knows what happens next for us … Something, though. Sigh.
And yesterday was the longest Monday EVER. Good to come home and escape with a dog walk and just going to bed early.
Well, at least it’s Tuesday. And more importantly, God is faithful.
A guy on the radio this afternoon said they gave a $500 bonus for some skill and a $1000 signing bonus for nurses. A nurse can get a Chick-fil-A certificate (free meal) just for coming for an interview. I suspect, (thought don’t know) that they need people for the numerous elderly care facilities in the area.
Thank you for your prayers. I have been feeling better today, although I did have one semi-meltdown about something.
After calling the office a few times over the course of about a week & a half, Lee finally heard back from the cardiologist. The stress test showed “something abnormal”. so he has to have an echo-cardiogram next week.

Thank you Chas (and all of you). I don’t mind old people at all.
