🙂 We’ve had a winter of sensible snow–somewhat rare snowfalls (one or at most two per month, though March may change that), no more than two or three inches at a time, and most of the time warm weather that melts most of it within two or three days.
🙂 Nothing, in other words, that needs the driveway plowed or that piles up in drifts that last for a month, though we have the beauty of snow periodically.
🙂 We still have some snow, but most days this coming week are supposed to be in the sixties again.
🙂 I have a nice, steady workload of small projects. Two at a time, with more in the pipeline, is my preference, and it’s what I have. A big one or two on their way later, and presumably more later in the spring and summer.
🙂 I had an extremely encouraging conversation with a friend who lost a leg to diabetes a year ago. She’s doing better, healthwise, than she has in years, and was praising the Lord and enjoying life. When I spoke to her in the fall, I wasn’t sure I’d ever hear her voice again.
🙂 My sister has finally left a spiritually abusive church.
😦 It doesn’t sound like the one she is attending is very much better, with a pastor who sounds to me like he’s influenced by Gothard. But she’s looking to move and find another church, and sees this one as temporary. (That could be a prayer request for her and her kids.)
🙂 God’s in His heaven, all’s right with the world.
I’m too exhausted by it all to either rant or rave.
But.
Do I really have to kill every ant in Sonoma County from the convenience of my kitchen?
