I played with Adorables and so missed most of the Superbowl. Social media, however, is ablaze with the Black Power movement performance of a scantily-clad singer.
Yeah, she has some nerve, and little class, or self-respect.
She gets the police to shut down the highway and clear her route to the game, and then she spends the half-time so-called “show” mocking them and going all BLM on ’em. Hypocrite.
And then you have Cam the crybaby. Like school in the summertime, no class. He ran his mouth for 2 weeks about how great he was, the commish Goodell anointed him “the future of the game”, and now they both look clueless. Real winners show class, even in defeat. Cam didn’t. He walked out on the post game presser because he couldn’t take the heat. Speaks volumes about his character, or lack there of….
If that’s the future of the game, the NFL is in trouble.
I have always thought “Poo, poo!” about someone putting down another person of the opposite political persuasion. But in Hillary’s case, I am becoming more convinced about her lack of political skills.
It all started for me when I listened to her voice; finger nails on a slate chalkboard are more pleasing than listening to Mrs. Clinton.
The problem with Ben Carson is that he has what is called, “character”. It is not a recognized commodity in the US today. That is why so many are saying he is too nice to be the President. I believe we have had a number of nice strong men who were President. Being nice and honest is not really a negative. It is something that would help this country enormously.
Without cable, I missed the Super Bowl. However, I did see a riot in Denver with thugs in hoodies tipping over police cars. Surprised not to see the riot police, tear gas, and those lovely armoured vehicles some police seem to have at the ready. Then the newscaster helpfully pointed out it wasn’t a riot but excited fans celebrating their teams victory.

Hillary is supposed to be smart, but she’s apparently not smart enough to dodge the question…

Chas, you do have that weird alias — the long gibberish one — but since it always comes up with your photo, no one is ever fooled

HRW, that is because we are following the fine example set in Europe when there are football matches.
