The update is on Randy & Tatyanna, and really is a request for continued prayer for them. I’ll withhold the details here, but please pray for their relationship (father/daughter, in the wake of their wife’s/mom’s passing). Things are not good on that front at all.
New request #1: We’ve been praying every week in the Sunday morning Bible study I attend for the great-niece of a friend of mine, and I thought I would mention the situation here, with all the prayer warriors we’ve got on this site
.Eve is 8 months old, and has numerous health and developmental issues. She has hardly gained weight since her birth, weighing now about eleven pounds, despite being seven or eight pounds at birth. Mom had an IUD in place when she conceived, and they are wondering if that caused the problems she’s facing. (My understanding is that an IUD is an abortifacient, so I think it’s pretty rare that a baby would even make it to birth under those circumstances.)
New request #2: This seems so small in comparison to all the aforementioned things on this thread, but I would appreciate prayer as I contemplate beginning to compose music for piano on a regular basis. It’s been a dream of mine for a long time, and I have done some composing over the years to assist my piano students with individual needs, and sometimes just for my own enjoyment — to nurture my creative bent when the mood strikes.
I’ve been experiencing a strong pull in that direction lately, and am asking you to pray for wisdom for me as I discern whether this is something the Lord is calling me to.
I just found out that a co-worker’s father-in-law was driving to the hospital last night to see his wife after the hospital called and said she was having problems. FIL did not make it to the hospital. He went off the road and died. Not determined yet what happened.
Very sad situation. Prayers for G and P and extended family. Thanks.
I have not heard yet on the delivery of the baby. I did not go to church today and have not reached anyone I have called.
I finally spoke with a friend from church who said something was sent out Friday about the baby’s birth that included photos. The baby looked blue in the photos. I don’t know anything else. So many prayer needs.
