Thank You for this Holy week and the reason for all the celebration. Forgive those who use it only for a secular event. May the Holy Spirit draw them to the Higher and most important reason behind all the decor and partying. Please open hearts to receive the best gift this world could ever receive. I pray for enemies of Jesus and Christians the world over, Your enemies, who have stumbling blocks to understanding the Truth. Remove the invisible mountains of false beliefs that harden hearts. Please may Jesus be received by many this Christmas.
Thank you for all the friendships here and concern expressed for each other over major and minor life struggles. Thank You that AJ continues to give his gift of time and thoughtfulness to us all.
Lord, I lift up Donna ‘ s friend with the chronic anxiety. Please bring her to a new attitude, a new surrender to You and Your good care. I think anxiety is one form of thinking we are in control and can do something that only You can do. Please help her to give over her backpack of burdens to Jesus who seeks to give her rest. May He exchange backpacks and give her the light and easy one. Jesus is so good as a friend to help those in need.
Please bless all of Mumsee ‘ s big family. May their joy be increased when they share their experience s of both events. Please make it be a double blessing instead of a felt loss. Please give traveling mercies and peaceful enjoyment to all.
I continue to lift up Art’s situation to You concerning the bleeding. Thank You that finally the catheter bag seemed clear of blood yesterday and that it is only pinkish tinged today after resumption of the blood thinner. Please may it keep going in the right direction as the med builds up in his system. Please, work it out so he can get rid of the catheter. He has pain from that and the stent despite taking pain med. Please 3 as the pain.
I ask for good travels for son and no problem with my brother picking him up at the airport. Thank You for opportunity for son to visit with his friend’s family. He has not given us details of his relationship, but I know You know, and if this is the special one then I pray You will bless it.
Please help me as I muddle through these days always feeling that too many things get left undone. Help me to discern the most important things to You and make them my priority. I am so easily distracted.
I pray for peace for this week at home and abroad. Please keep watch over all our military and block any effort that tries to cause harm. You have Your unseen ways of making all types of weapons ineffective.
I pray for Jo to be having a most excellent trip making her glad for her decision to do this new thing. May she too share with her family about her adventure so that their joy is doubled.
Please give gifts of new employment to those in need and desperation of how they can survive into the new year without income.
I pray in the blessed sweet and at the same time most powerful name of Jesus, Amen
Daughter flying home through rain in a prop plane, just about now. Our county airport doesn’t have a control tower so if they can’t see the airport runway, they don’t land . . .
Husband called, they are moving along. Well, they had pulled over and the boys had pushed some folk and their car out of a ditch, but now they are motoring along.
Please pray for a young man named Dennis who posted on our town’s Facebook “bulletin board” page about how his life is falling apart. A couple of us Christians commented with encouragement or offers to pray. Praying God will get threw to this young man even this very day. (I went to his FB page, & saw an anti-Christian type of posting.)
The young man, Dennis, said he thinks he needs an exorcism. Someone asked him why, & he said “things have been happening”. Please pray God will lead him to godly counsel. I don’t know if there actually is any demonic activity in his life, but he needs godly counsel nonetheless.

Husband and sons have headed out. The forecast for the big storm was moved up from noon to nine so they should just head straight into it.

Son got home a bit ago. Thank you for praying for his safe travels.
Art continues to have pain and some bleeding. We will go to the doc’s office early in the a.m.
