I have already read 1984. A must read for some one who wants to understand where we are. It’s the inside/outside of Brave New World Both are good reads.
In one of his novels, Tom Clancy predicted a coordinated attack on shopping malls.
Perfectly logical. A group crosses from Mexico and at a predetermined time, five shopping malls throughout the country are attacked.
That’s how the story starts. I’ve forgotten which book.
My husband observed when he was in India that all the shopping malls had metal detectors you had to go through before you entered. The folks he worked with were astonished the US doesn’t have metal detectors in shopping malls.
Husband had to smack himself in the head when nineteen year old daughter asked him who she was in reference to Lindsey Graham. Husband has been their Government teacher for years.

To hear Hillary tell it, she is an expert on Islam, ISIS and terrorism. It’s too bad that she didn’t bring that expertise into play when she was SOS.
