  1. 😦 Concern about hubby’s heart issue, not to mention the prostate cancer.

😦 Although his new job is virtually stress-free compared to owning his bread route ( 🙂 ), he is still working too many hours, & thus back to only getting six hours of sleep a night. He could handle this kind of thing much better when he was younger, but he’s 60 now.

🙂 😦 I’m a-gonna be 55 in January! How did that happen? Where did the time go? I feel a lot younger on the inside.

🙂 A benefit of having the facial paralysis (partial in my case) of Moebius Syndrome is that I have few wrinkles.

🙂 Heidi turned 6 on December 9. She also had a vet appointment that day, as she was due for a shot of some type.

Thanks to changing the kind of flea & tick med we use (from Vectra 3D to Advantix II), & giving her Benadryl three times a day, her itching problem is finally under control. Praise God! The vet was so pleased with how wonderful & healthy she looks.

🙂 Heidi’s shagginess is coming back, after having been kept trimmed for the summer. She’s such a cutie.

  2. 🙂 A sort of free day. What a relief!

🙂 Next week looks relatively open, too. I may get some thinking done!

    🙂 Rain!

😦 Still no job for Stargazer. A mother is only as happy as her most unhappy child, right?

  3. 🙂 Looking forward to another week off and whipping this house into shape.

🙂 Roof job will happen, just not sure when.

    😦 Houses.

🙂 We’re finally getting some fall weather here with lower temperatures, wind and snow in the mountains (and even a bit of rain here on the flatlands of the coast). I hit an actual downpour (though it was brief) on the drive in to work yesterday morning. Jeep sure looks cleaner.

😦 Time for the dogs to get groomed. Minimally I get that done twice — at Christmas and in the summer — but I am trying to add in a couple extra times during the year (quarterly would be ideal for better maintenance). I think this is the third grooming appointment for this year, so I did get one visit added in for 2015.

🙂 I’ve been eating healthier, losing a bit of weight (my doctor was happy), and I’m hoping to try out a few new “healthy” recipes in the weeks to come. Now to pick up the walking schedule …

  4. 🙂 Christmas program for our 4 year old Granddaughter; piano recital for her brother, Christmas program dress rehearsal for their cousin. They live about 45 minutes apart and we were able to take it all in by staying one extra night. They are 4 hours from us.

🙂 Dry roads and good driving for this. Much nicer than the blizzards we have had in the past.

🙂 Being able to see videos online for one of the further away grandsons.

😦 Missing them being close enough to just stop by or go to their home quickly.

  5. 😦 Husband gone all week and still 5 more days until he’s home

😦 Bruised my big toe somehow today – difficult to walk, but I’ll survive 🙂

🙂 Decorating for our potluck this coming Friday – so much fun

🙂 A warm reliable vehicle to drive

    🙂 Snow
