I would appreciate prayers for adjusting to my mom’s new circumstances and for her during this time. It will soon be a year from when my dad passed away. I have yet to adjust to the changes and figure out the best way to honor and love my mom. There are many issues and people involved.
You may remember that Forrest had a pretty bad ear (double ear, I think) infection recently. It took two rounds of antibiotics to kill it. Now it appears that Forrest’s hearing may have been affected. Please pray for God to open his ears to hear clearly. (And of course, I mean that in the physical sense, & in the spiritual sense. 🙂 )
Also, Lee has postponed his cardiologist appointment to later in January, when his new health insurance will be in effect. He was told back in April that he should see one. In reviewing her cardiology lessons, Emily has become concerned that Lee’s symptoms seem to point to something serious. (She recognizes that she is only a nursing student, & not a doctor, but she is concerned by what she does know.) Please pray for healing & strengthening of his heart.
Praying for you, Kathaleena, and for Forrest and Lee, Karen.
I have what seems like a million things to do today, most of which don’t involve sitting still, and I am fighting waves of nausea every time I move. Ach.
Hopefully, Lee’s heart issues will be treatable. I have some and had one doctor urge me to see a cardiologist after some routine surgical type test. There was an issue, but nothing to worry about. My mom has had a dozen stents. It is amazing what they can do today. Praying it is nothing, nothing that cannot be managed and that you will have peace about it until he can see the cardiologist. Also, that he is wise about what he eats and does in the meantime!
Prayers for all from yesterday.
