Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 26
¹Judge me, O Lord; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the Lord; therefore I shall not slide.
2 Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.
3 For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.
4 I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.
5 I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.
6 I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O Lord:
7 That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.
8 Lord, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.
9 Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:
10 In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.
11 But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.
12 My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the Lord.
We’re having a Thanksgiving event today in the town of Strakonice (starting at 5pm – 11am Eastern, 10am Central, 8am Pacific). Please pray for God to work by His Spirit in the hearts and minds of those Czechs who will be in attendance. My wife will be helping with food prep and in song, and I will share the message, including the Gospel (after 6pm). Thanks.

Joanne was headed back to Africa yesterday. Her post from about 8 hours ago on FB:
Good flight to Brussels! So much better to go via Washington instead of Chicago! Although I didn’t get bumped up to business class, I DID have a row of 3 seats all to myself! In between bouts of turbulence, I was able to lay down and sleep a couple hours. Flight to Banjul doesn’t leave for about 4 hours so I’m using my 1 hour of free WiFi to kill some time. By the time most of you wake up, I will be in the air again.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You that so many had a really good Thanksgiving Day. The weather has been better in many areas for this holiday time so people can not feel so cooped up in small homes with crowds.
I pray for Tychicus to have a good reception among the people to whom he hopes to reach with Your good news. Depending on each individual’s standing with You, may he take on varied roles of sower, waterer, or harvester. Whatever his role, may the Spirit have full access for impact through Tychicus. Please bless his wife with divine encounters as she ministers in her areas of skill. Please open hearts and let Your love flow in and may it be so much as to overflow in families and communities. Thank You for the promise that Your word goes out and does not return void.
I pray for Joanne to thrive as she goes back to the mission field. Please give her new opportunities to reach people with the love of Jesus in whatever form needed.
Lord, please continue to help Mumsee and Mike with all their decision making and their responsibilities. Please relieve the stresses of dealing with the tremendous level of needs in their household (Nest). Please keep peace and harmony to fill the home if possible and help each person to learn ways to be supportive to all others. May each pull their part to the best of their abilities so no one is overloaded.
Please be with Karen and Lee’s family as they recuperate from illness while he has this new route to transition into. May he easily learn the most effective travel paths according to traffic flow. Please help him to feel better in all ways.
I pray for Kim and BG to continue to establish a closer loving relationship. I ask that BG and others near her age related to this blog family will be caught in the loving net of the Holy Spirit, a safety net between Your best and all the darkness the world has to offer.
You know each young one in need without my mentioning their name.
Lord, please continue to help Art to get better. He says he does not feel quite right. Is it his meds or his body that is the cause? Is it worry over the business? You know the need, Lord. I lift it again to You. Thank You that my brother helped with our plumbing problems. Please bless law enforcement to learn of all terroristic plots planned for this season. You know all. Please keep our nation moving toward Your good. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen

My dear 87 year old CT friend Liz is not doing well with the Parkinson’s and is currently hospitalized having apparently lost the ability to speak. She woke several nights ago, got up to wander and her husband found her the next morning on the floor in another room, lying in a pool of blood from a head wound. It’s been downhill since, and Roy is exhausted and fraying. Daughter called asking us to pray.
Liz is beyond ready, as is Roy. Thanks.

Prayers please:
My niece, HG, needs prayers. She struggles with mental illness and has been quite despondent and overwhelmed recently. Her parents are in Kenya, serving as medical missionaries. She attends Wheaton in Chicago and is a firm believer, but has had issues since she was nine…
Also, my mom continues to not be in good health. This is causing my dad a lot of stress. He spends many of the wee hours on his knees in prayer for her. He is in great health for an 83 year old man, but is so tired.
She is scheduled to have a colonoscopy and esophagus scope next week–they are primarily looking for cancer and bleeding varices. My folks have been together since she was sixteen and he was nineteeb

They married three years later, when she was nineteen and he was twenty-two… I know he will be devastated when she’s gone. Her sodium, potassium and magnesium continue to be messed up, and she’s still anemic. Doctors told her to limit fluid intake–but, she doesn’t because she’s still drinking excessive amounts of bourbon. In addition, she’s in a great deal of pain due to severe spinal stenosis. She’s not a candidate for surgery.

Did not go to church this morning, tired and coughing with plenty of Kleenex. I’ve had this chest pseudo-cold for nearly 2 weeks and while I’m sure it just needs to run its course . . . . I’m functioning, but on half- power. Last Bible study on Heaven is Tuesday, and I need to prep, but if I’m not well, I really can’t go and infect my 80-something ladies.
So, health and wisdom. Christmas stuff won’t be urgent for a couple weeks.

Michelle – We’ve had a similar thing here, over three weeks now. Praying yours will pass quickly (relatively speaking).

Second Arrow got home yesterday, and today has fallen ill with similar things you ladies are describing, Michelle and Karen. And now tonight she’s developed a bad migraine and is throwing up (for the second time). Pain like her skull is being crushed, is how she describes it.
Prayers, please. She looks and sounds awful.
Praying, also, for all the needs listed above.
Thanks.
