Prayer Requests 11-23-15

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 20

¹The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;

Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;

Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.

Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.

We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions.

Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.

They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.

Save, Lord: let the king hear us when we call.

  1. We’ll be headed toward Donna’s area as soon as my husband finds out if he is excused from jury duty or noon tomorrow at the latest.The roads are traditionally a nightmare during this season and I’m not looking forward to the drive.

    Almost all my relatives are expected:50 for dinner.My nephew got engaged over the weekend so it will be lots of fun.

    Wisdom for all our conversations and insight for how to best represent Stargazer’s situation, coupled with yet another personal disaster for a young person in our family. I love them all and I’m happy to see them, but we’re it for the “mature Christian” department.

    Also, we’ve tapped a childhood friend of Stargazer’s for job leads at Zillow and a start up in Seattle. You’ve done well praying for rain–though we’ll take more–please continue to pray for Stargazer’s whole life, not just the job. Who knows what God is doing there? I’m just the mother and I need to be obedient to God and just be the mother of a perfectly capable adult child, not try to fix something I cannot fix.

    Thank you.

  2. Praying for all, Michelle.

    We are back from a nice visit with my dad and stepmom. Kind of eyeopening. My dad, a nonbeliever and very informed as to world events, is absolutely convinced that Christians are just as murderous as Muslims. Bizarre. I asked him to point out where Christians are murdering like Muslims. He mentioned Bolivar. What???? He says we cannot read the Quran and see Muslims that way unless we read the Old Testament and see Christians that way. I tried to explain that Christians are to follow Christ, the New Testament. The old testament was to show us the need for Him. No good.
