It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.
Anyone else?
Psalm 18:1-3
¹I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
2 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
3 I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
Remember last year around this time, & into December, I was asking prayer for, & providing updates on, a little girl with a serious case of pneumonia, named Dakotah? (She was six then, she’s seven now.) She came very close to dying last year. She had “coded” a few times.
She is back in the hospital again with pneumonia. She doesn’t seem as bad as last year, but they are being cautious. Her mom just mentioned that she spiked another fever after seeming to be on the mend.
Please pray for her healing. Thank you.

As for Lee, after much thought, prayer, & discussion, he has decided to stick with the job with Diana’s Bakery. We both feel at peace with that decision. Thanks to all who prayed.
I was hoping we would have heard from Kare, too, and thought she would have been back here before I returned from my internet day off. Kare, if you can see this somehow but can’t post, please know I am praying for you and your husband and family.
Some days and weeks are wearisome and try our coping abilities. Thank You for extending rest to those who feel worn down. Thank You for small unexpected pleasures such as receiving warm blankets to use at the ER for resting in the recliner. Thank You for quality medical care and for making way for young people to train in those demanding professions. I pray for those healthcare systems that are not working such as when we did not get a call back when needed.
Thank You for pain meds that work against agonizing pain.
Lord, I lift up Kare and her family to You. Please give them help against any difficulties even if it involves lack of access to the internet. You know where they are and what their needs are.
Thank You for helping Karen and Lee to make a good decision about the two positions. Please help them over time find even more reason to feel good about their decision. I pray for Lee to have the needed stamina to start right in on this new position and to find nice people at every stop. May he never be bothered by thoughts of what if. Help him to feel contentment and peace as long as he chooses to continue with this position.
Thank You for prayer warriors here who have been so supportive of Art and me during these continuing difficult days.
You are the God over all things here on earth. Those who doubt Your existence are missing out on so much. Please save the lost loved ones quickly. You know their hearts and what it will take.
Asking in the name of Jesus, may Your will be accomplished, Amen
Oh, thank you all for remembering me and praying for us! We finally got home last night around 8pm. Such a relief. The roads through the mountains were horrible and slow with so much traffic from having been closed for so long. We had long days and I was just too tired to touch base here.
Where is Kare?

Still praying for all the recent requests.

I had hoped that was it, glad to hear you made it. And the rest of the family? Driving in those conditions is exhausting.
