🙂 We were so happy to have a few weeks with one of our daughters and her two sons.
😦 Her husband cut his hand and needed twelve stitches. He was on the job fishing.
😦 No matter how long we are with them (and my other children and grandchildren) I miss having them around. I do enjoy my own time and space, too, though. Like other humans I just want my cake and to eat it, too. 🙂
🙂 It was fun to try out some new restaurants (for us) and take in a couple of fiddle contests. One was at Hurricane Mills, which is Loretta Lynn’s home. We did not get to see a lot or tour her former home, but did get to see some of the grounds.
😊 Had tons of fun at a local fall festival (pony rides, inflatables, etc.)
😢 Bigun is sick tonight. Praying the twins don’t catch whatever it is.
😢 All except TJ will have to miss worship tomorrow.
