Re: my friend who had the stroke. Her husband posted this yesterday: “Just sitting with Melissa and she says she is doing good, her mind feels as good as ever. She still knows that 2+2 =20. I think now might be a good time to remind her she told me I could buy a new snowmobile.”
And today, Melissa is home. She will be able to have her therapy in the town where they live! Thank you for praying for her. Please continue to pray for a complete recovery.
I’ve been weak-willed today, and struggling with a spirit of apathy about doing what I ought. I’d appreciate prayers that tomorrow I’d rise above whatever is holding me back. Thanks.

We pray for our country fairly often in the Sunday Bible study I attend, but I usually don’t think about it during the week. Good reminder, Mumsee.
