  1. I posted a piece on this story before. It goes along with the one Michelle posted the other day from the NYTimes about pedophiles in Afghanistan. Once again those who spoke up or did something about it are punished while the White House and DoD continue to pretend it’s not a problem.

This guy stood up and said enough. Now he’s paying for it while the Obama admin continues to fund and support the perverts.

    http://dailycaller.com/2015/09/22/army-rejects-appeal-of-green-beret-discharged-for-confronting-afghan-boy-lover/

“The U.S. Army has just rejected the appeal of Green Beret Sgt. 1st Class Charles Martland, who received a discharge scheduled to take effect Nov. 1 for shoving an Afghan rapist to the ground.

“Consequently, your request for an appeal and continued service is disapproved,” U.S. Human Resources Command said in a Sept. 14 memo sent to Martland.

The reason for the denial? The office said that Martland’s appeal attempt “does not meet the criteria” because it brings no new information to the table. Later, the letter added that the decision is final, Fox News reports.

In 2011, Martland came up close and personal to a local Afghan police commander, who was accused of raping a boy and then assaulting his mother. The Afghan commander laughed when confronted by Martland, and so Martland shoved him to the ground.

Along with his team leader, Martland was removed from the base in Kunduz Province, Afghanistan. In a memo obtained by Fox News, it seems clear that Martland received severe criticism from the leadership for interfering.

Allegations have recently surfaced that a Department of Defense policy requested for troops to look the other way in the face of rampant sexual abuse of boys by Afghan men in power.”

Their justification for ignoring it? They say it’s a cultural thing. It may be, but it’s still wrong and repulsive, as is allowing it to continue.

  2. Another update.

What are Akmed’s parents trying to hide the facts. If truth is on their side, what are they afraid of?

I’m guessing they’re afraid the scam will be exposed.

    http://townhall.com/columnists/kyleshideler/2015/09/22/irving-mayor-ahmed-mohameds-family-blocking-release-of-records-obama-tweeted-support-even-before-clock-pic-released-n2055545/page/full

“Last night, Irving Texas Mayor Beth Van Duyne revealed that the family of Ahmed Mohammed has repeatedly refused to meet with city officials, refused to released records exonerating police conduct, and that President Obama had tweeted about the case even before pictures of the so-called “clock” were publicly available.

Appearing on Glenn Beck’s The Blaze TV, Van Duyne noted how reporting on the interaction between Mohammed and police had been remarkably one-sided, in part because the Mohammed family refused to release records noting:

“As a juvenile, they can not release those records. The school district, a number of times, has asked the family, to release the records, so that you can have the balanced story out there. The family is ignoring the request from the ISD.”

Van Duyne told Beck it would “help to describe why it progressed as it did” if the records were available. “Nobody is going to walk in and say, ‘oh you’re a 14-year old child, you’re totally cooperating, we have all the answers we need, let’s arrest you,’” Van Duyne added.

A spokesperson for the Irving Police Department has said there have been multiple open records requests for the full police reporting, but that those requests remained in the hands of the city’s legal advisor. The available police report describes the event only as, “…Arrestee being in possession of a hoax bomb at MacArthur High School.””

“The refusal to amiably resolve the situation continued as the family rushed to bring Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) representatives into the case, and repeatedly cancelled meetings with the school district and city officials before finally speaking to the media.”

“Van Duyne was joined on the Glenn Beck program by Jim Hanson, a former Special Forces Sergeant and Vice President of the Center for Security Policy, who pointed out CAIR’s documented ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and the terrorist group Hamas, and that the Mohammed family were members of a mosque tied to an Irving Sharia Tribunal which Mayor Van Duyne had publicly opposed.

“I don’t think there’s any question that this latest event was a PR stunt, it was a staged event,” Hanson said, saying the device did look like an explosive. “I’ve built briefcase bombs and blown them up, that’s what they look like,” Hanson pointed out referring to his time with Special Forces.”

  3. I keep wondering if O’s and all the other invitations and offers are going to be revoked now that it’s been exposed that he not only didn’t build a clock, he put a dime-store clock sans cover into a pencil case and claimed he built it? The “poor doe-eyed young man” is a fraud and a liar – is he going to be rewarded for that?

  4. Oh look, the “Obama is a muslim” guy at the Trump rally is a lefty plant.

    http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2015/09/donald-trumps-mystery-muslim-questioner-a-serial-anti-tea-party-plant/

“The unknown man who recently questioned Donald Trump about Muslims and President Obama has been featured on left wing blogs and an anti-Tea Party website for years.

When Joe the Plumber questioned Obama in 2008 and became a political problem for the campaign, within 24 hours the media had uncovered his real name, address and tax history. In the case of Trump’s mystery questioner, the media has done absolutely no investigation.

Patrick Howley of Breitbart is doing the job the media refuses to do and has discovered that the mystery man has a history of appearing on left wing websites:

Exclusive: Liberal Group Publicized Trump ‘Muslim Question’ Guy Years Ago

A man who looks exactly like the notorious “Muslim question” guy from last week’s Donald Trump rally was previously the star of a liberal anti-Tea Party campaign, Breitbart News has learned.

The man, whom some suspect to have been a liberal or Democratic plant in Trump’s audience, was featured in a meme in the spring of 2013 that was credited to aattp.org, the website of the group Americans Against The Tea Party.

The man was depicted participating in a rally holding a sign that read “Impeach the Muslim Marxist.” The photo spread on left-wing message boards.”

  5. More on Ahmed…

Mostly a fluff piece on him and his new found fame. But they provide an interesting minor detail from Eyman, Ahmed’s sister…….

    http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/09/17/man-i-went-viral-my-day-with-ahmed-moahmed-the-most-famous-boy-on-earth.html

“After the MSNBC segment, Eyman and I sit down in the hallway where she says the same thing happened to her as Ahmed.

“I got suspended from school for three days from this stupid same district, from this girl saying I wanted to blow up the school, something I had nothing to do with.”

Eyman talks with the slightest lisp, almost imperceptible, but it becomes stronger as she gets emotional.

“I got suspended and I didn’t do anything about it and so when I heard about Ahmed, I was so mad because it happened to me and I didn’t get to stand up, so I’m making sure he’s standing up because it’s not right. So I’m not jealous, I’m kinda like—it’s like he’s standing for me.”

  6. Hillary says Trump should apologize immediately, for believing a rumor she started….

    http://freebeacon.com/politics/clinton-denies-2008-campaigns-role-in-birther-muslim-rumors-about-obama/

“Hillary Clinton flatly denied her failed 2008 presidential campaign had anything to do with starting rumors that Barack Obama was born abroad or that he was a Muslim Wednesday during a radio interview with CNN anchor Don Lemon.

Lemon alluded to the report that then-Sen. Obama confronted Clinton on the tarmac of Reagan National Airport for spreading the false rumors that he was a Muslim.

“Do you care to respond?” Lemon asked. “Did you or your campaign start the whole birther thing? And did you have that confrontation with the president?”

“That is so ludicrous, Don,” Clinton said. “First of all, it’s totally untrue, and secondly, the president and I have never had any kind of confrontation like that. You know, this is such a bad example of what’s wrong with instantaneous reactions and Americans getting all worked up and people feeding prejudice and paranoia like Donald Trump. Obviously, all of us have to stand against it, and I have been blamed for nearly everything. That was a new one to me.”

Clinton’s campaign was criticized at the time for just that, however, after her team circulated pictures of Obama in a turban-like headdress during a diplomatic trip to Kenya in 2006. Clinton hedged during a 60 Minutes interview in 2008 as well, saying she had reason to believe Obama was a Muslim “as far as I know.”

MSNBC’s Morning Joe castigated Clinton for her hypocrisy on the issue Monday after she berated Trump for not rebuking a supporter who suggested Obama was a Muslim.”

  7. Good question…

    http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/why-do-muslims-get-ignore-public-accomodation-laws-used-prosecute-christians_1034681.html

“As an addendum to Jonathan Last’s piece about the bizarre willingness of liberals rushing to the defense of illiberal Muslims so long as it makes the GOP look bad, BuzzFeed has a nice story up today about a Muslim-American woman embracing her heritage and celebrating Eid. But BuzzFeed’s story contains this interesting anecdote about tracking down a halal butcher:

This year, things are different. I found a full-time job, a way to stay in New York, and more friends. This year, I looked forward to Eid like I did when I was a child. I didn’t slaughter a goat in my nonexistent back yard, but I made my parents send me photos of the goat. And I did find a halal butcher (Yelp to the rescue) and called him.

“I need two legs of lamb.”
“Sorry miss, we don’t serve meat to people we don’t know,” he said.
    Was this guy for real?
“I need them for Eid. My name is Zainab.”
I leveraged my Muslim capital. He paused.
    “When do you need it?”

Now, to be clear, I think business owners should be able to serve whoever they want to, just as customers should be free to avoid businesses they view as unfairly discriminatory. But imagine this same scenario where I call up a baker and say “I need a wedding cake,” and they respond “we don’t bake cakes for people we don’t know.” I then respond, “I need it for a wedding. I am a Christian who believes that marriage is between one man and one woman,” and they respond, “When do you need it?””

“If anyone in a liberal city or state got wind of such a thing happening, that baker would be immediately dragooned before the local human rights commission, the state attorney general would take up a crusade, and/or the state labor commission would press charges on the grounds that doing this is discriminatory under public accomodation laws. Heck, if business owners merely have opinions about gay marriage, regardless of whether their business is discriminatory in who it hires or serves, this happens:”

“And yet, Muslims are somehow completely immune from being targeted in this culture war even though public accomodation laws demanding you serve people regardless of race, creed, sex, and sexual orientation are clearly being violated. This is not a hypothetical. In the last year, there have been ongoing legal sanctions against bakers in Oregon and Colorado for refusing to bake cakes for gay weddings. In both cases, the bakers weren’t even broadly discriminatory: They’re happy to serve gay customers, they just don’t want to participate in an event of religious significance that violates their beliefs.”
