Prayer for us as we have put in our name to take in a Christian Syrian family of five or six. We are available if God needs us. Prayer that God would do what He wants and bring people or not and that we would be prepared for either. Thanks.
Another complicated conversation with yet another Christian having a lot of problems. It’s far too complicated. Just pray that D will hear God’s clear direction and will find the job she needs.
Also, Uncle Frank continues to improve. He lost his left eye and is tired, but relatives visited him in the hospital yesterday and were optimistic.
My hubby has been in considerable pain for a number of weeks, especially the last few days. He pushes himself to work through it, as he figures that since he’s in pain whether he’s working or idle, he might as well be working. He can’t stand doing nothing.
Anyway, today at his chiropractic appointment, he asked her to take an X-ray. Turns out the 6th vertebra has shifted out of position. She did an adjustment, and will again on Wednesday. He is in a little less pain now after the appointment.
Prayers for pain relief, healing, and wisdom about which practitioner(s) to see for any further treatment which might be necessary. He’s seen a variety of people over the years for various injuries and maladies — chiropractors, physical therapists, massage therapists, and allopathic doctors.
We are hoping, for a variety of reasons, that surgery will not be necessary.
My friend’s husband was attacked and gored several times by a cow a few days ago and had emergency surgery and will be in the hospital for another week or so and NO more farming for him this fall (says the doctor).
Thank You that You have been available to each person who has visited the prayer thread today no matter where or when. You are always on the ready and alert to hear the prayers and petitions of Your children.
Our needs pile up one on top of the other. Simple things turn into complex issues that throw us for a loop, but nothing is too complex for You. We can always go to You no matter what and know it will make a good difference whether in the physical trsnsformation of a situstion or on the emotional realm with comforting, calming and peace as only You give.
Please take good care of Mumsee’s son with asthma. It creeps up on people and becomes a serious foe during this season. Please give him reduction in inflamation of his airways. May his meds help give relief. Bring him quickly back to good health. Also, please help the nest to realize the part it is to play in the lives of the refugee family. You know the festures of all the personalities and individual needs. Please make known the best route for all. Thank You for Mumsee’s spirit of Christian hospitality.
Please help in the above mentioned situations for David H, Uncle Frank, 6 Arrow’s husband, Roscuro’s father’s surgery, my husband’s doc appointment in a.m., Cheryl J’s physical therapy, Lee’s medical issues, Karen O’s eye issues, and others I have failed to mention. You know each pain, each ailment, each procedure, and how it hurts for loved ones to watch suffering. Please help all to show faith in Your abilities to meet these needs. Help us to ask rightly when we pray so You will find favor with our prayers.
Lord, please help Michelle’s friend who has a decision to make. Also, please help the doc today who made a negative reply when my husband told him he is a Christian. You have the Way to help that doc to get on board with Your plans for his life. Please give him new life in Jesus as he works to save lives on the physical level.
Also, I pray for Kare’s friend’s husband who got gored and also for the Covenant College student who fell while rock climbing. Such horrible body damaging accidents that give You a chance to show how quickly You can heal broken bodies. Please work quickly on both of these children who are in pain and help loved ones to cope as they help their loved ones.
Father God, please continue to keep us safe from acts of terrorism especially as the Pope visits our nation. I pray Your angels keep watch over our military wherever they are serving in dangerous circumstances. And always keep guard over the many good law enforcement personnel who have unfairly been targeted because of racial baiting. You know who plots evil based on hatred fueled by liesfrom the evil one.
Thank You for all You are doing based on our many consolidated prayers. May they be pleasing to You. May Your will be done. In Jesus’ name, Amen
