The drought continues. Here our water source for our tanks is rain. Everything is covered in dust and the yards are all turning brown. Gardens need water and are the primary food source for the people of Png.
Prayers please for wisdom concerning one of my students. She is from a non English speaking country and is not doing well. I met with Mom today and the girl is so quiet that it is hard for us to tell what the problem is. Also they are leaving in a week and won’t return until mid November.
I had excitement this morning before I could get here to post that I am battling negativity today (see main thread)
I just want to do something (work related) that someone, somewhere says, “That’s fantastic! Great job! Thank you.” It has been so long since I heard anything like that. Right now I need to go work on two lease invoices which means I am going to have to dig around in his email to get the contracts and try to figure out what is going on, but the last time I did that I got yelled at so I am avoiding it.
Pray for me today and this big night meeting I have to cover — I’ll need a clear head and a lot of productive focus under pressure to write accurately & fast.
All, preferably, without screaming or crying or jumping up, arms flapping, and running around in circles in front of 1,500 people.
