  1. From Drudge:

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Joanne O’Donnell ruled on Friday afternoon the Center for Medical Progress has First Amendment rights to release videos it covertly took of StemExpress executives talking about buying aborted baby tissue from Planed Parenthood. Almost immediately afterwards, CMP released a new video that among other thing showed the StemExpress CEO Joking about receiving entire dead babies from Planned Parenthood (over lunch).

This latest video is only two minutes long and is more of a trailer of things to come. Most of its content was made up of bits and pieces of previous videos. The one new section featured Cate Dyer, the CEO of StemExpress in a lunch meeting with undercover operatives posing as representatives of a biotech firm. Dyer is seen laughing about how StemExpress purchases fully intact aborted babies from Planned Parenthood. As she paid the check, Dyer is laughing about how shippers of the aborted babies should give a warning to lab workers to expect such a whole (intact) baby.

  2. In search of a Plan B?

Washington (CNN)Vice President Joe Biden met privately with Sen. Elizabeth Warren on Saturday in his residence at the Naval Observatory, CNN has learned, another sign he is seriously deciding whether to jump into the Democratic presidential race.

The meeting between Biden and Warren, confirmed by two people familiar with the session, is the biggest indication yet that Biden is feeling out influential Democrats before announcing his intentions.

  3. Agree, michelle, what those guys did within seconds likely saved more than a few lives.

Good for them, and maybe this mindset will start to take root among all of us — these people CAN be stopped in their tracks, but it takes quick thinking, almost instant action — and a whole lot of guts and courage, admittedly.

” … Is Joe Biden a serious Plan B? No. There is no Plan B. … What of Democratic flavor-of-the-month Bernie Sanders? Please. When conservatives say Barack Obama is a socialist, liberals scream at us. But Bernie Sanders is a socialist, full stop. And even in 2016 America, that’s a bridge too far for all but a handful of states. … Democrats are stuck with Hillary. At least she has the brand name. Given the brilliance of the Democratic vote-generating machine, even a wounded Hillary likely goes into the election with about 48% of the vote in her pocket. Biden and Bernie won’t even get that. Of course, all of this goes out the window if Hillary is indicted. Then you’ll see a Democratic feeding frenzy that will make the Republican primary season thus far look like a game of tiddlywinks.”

  5. Don’t count out Bernie Sanders yet. I’ve seen a lot of support for him on Facebook, even among friends who used to be Hillary supporters. I’ve read (maybe even on here, not sure where) that Sanders’ appearances are heavily attended.

  6. Trump Mania is very disturbing. I don’t care that he is popular among many Republicans. I DO care that he seems to be popular among many Southerners.

This is profoundly disturbing for two reasons:

    1. It reveals that many Southerners are ignorant and/or naive that they would fall for the appeal of a demagogue with little or no history as a conservative, a Christian, a faithful husband or a gentleman.

    2. It shows that many modern Southerners have forgotten what our ancestors knew well. The primary enemies of the South are not Muslims or foreigners or immigrants. The primary enemies of the South (for over 150 years) have been and still are loud, rude, immoral Yankees (in other words, people just like Donald Trump).

  7. I’m not sure if I want Hillary to stay in the race or not. First of all she is a terrible candidate and could be beat but on the other hand are there are enough stupid people who just want to see a woman president (much like the idiots who voted for Obama just because he was black) to put her over.

  8. That is good news, KBells.

I saw a nationwide poll that indicates Sanders is already ahead of Clinton among whites. I would like to sit back and enjoy the prospect of the Democrats nominating an ancient communist (Sanders), an unpleasant criminal (Clinton) or a buffoon (Biden), but our own buffoon (Trump) has me worried.

  9. Clinton is vulnerable but she is still the front runner. Bush, Walker, and Rubio have a chance against her but they have to get past Trump. Both Clinton and Sanders can easily beat Trump. The republican elite has to get the primary under control or they may lose a winnable election.

Reading the NYT has been amusing. Sanders draws over 20000 but the headline says he fails to attract blacks. Trump attracts over 20000 but fails to fill the stadium. Theyre not impressed with populism from the left or right.

  10. FYI. I didn’t know much about the left’s takeover of the Democratic Party. Interesting article, which features this quote:

Edward Gibbon, the renowned historian, published his first of six-volumes of The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, in 1776, the year Thomas Jefferson penned the Declaration of Independence.

Gibbon described six attributes that Rome embodied at its end: first, an overwhelming love of show and luxury; second, a widening gap between the rich and the poor; third, an obsession with sports and a freakishness in the arts, masquerading as creativity and originality; fourth, a decline in morals, increase in divorce and decline in the institution of the family; fifth, economic deterioration resulting from debasement of the currency, inflation, excessive taxation, and overregulation; and sixth, an increased desire by the citizenry to live off the state.

  11. The Gibbons quite is accurate but that applies to most societies not just Rome or the US. The culprit isnt socialist because they dont exist in every place or time. Elites however do and when the elites no longer take an interest in their responsibility to society we have a problem. When a govt is reduced to lotteries instead of taxes we have a problem.

The actual article is horrid. Im typing on a cell so i wont belabor the point but any claim that hilary is a leftist radical needs serious evidence. She sold her soul to wall street long ago. Similarly the claim that the democrats and the US moved to the left is laughable. The democrat elite is tied to wall street. The present republican party has moved so far right eisenhower would habe more in common with sanders. Nixon would have a problem fitting in (although he loved power so much he could change his mind). And no us politician including sanders is as left as the fdr admin.

  12. About the Cruz video. She kept bringing up employment discrimination against gays, which I haven’t heard one incident of, however Christians who believe in traditional marriage are being fired, losing their businesses and livelihoods all over the place.

  13. The base has moved to the left in the last ten years. The bailout and obama’s timidness has motivated the base to the left. The democratic leadership hasnt changed since the DLC Clinton era. Sanders therefore is responding to the frustration of the base.
