Prayer Requests 7-17-15

Today is Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the young folks at The Nest.

Anyone else?

Psalm 44:1-8

¹We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work thou didst in their days, in the times of old.

How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; how thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.

For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.

Thou art my King, O God: command deliverances for Jacob.

Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.

For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.

But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us.

In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah.

  1. Woke up in pain with my arm and shoulder, which happens fairly often, and also in the collar bone area on the left side today, but usually the pain goes away shortly after arising. It’s been four hours now and hasn’t diminished. (Though I’ve been out of the house most of the time and haven’t had time to do my exercises yet.) Prayers that the heat/stretch/ice routine I’m about to do will help. Thanks.

  2. Heading out to visit the folks this morning. Stepmom is finally feeling up to a visit. We rarely allow children in to see her as they are overwhelming but she enjoys a quick hug and kiss and so do they. Older daughter will probably take them off to the water park a couple blocks away. Prayer for good attitudes and behavior for the four hours of driving. Thanks.

  3. Less pain now after doing half of the exercises, with the preceding heat treatment and the following icing. I’ll do the same thing with the other half of the exercises tonight. Thanks for praying.
