I previously mentioned that “Artie the Russian” was looking at another route. Did I mention he decided to buy that one, not Lee’s? For almost three months we’ve thought this nightmare was coming to an end, albeit rather slowly. Now we’re back to where we were three months ago. (Lee had let Emily get another job, so he’s without her help.)
We are both so disappointed & discouraged. Lee is so very weary, physically & mentally. To add insult to injury, his bread truck needs more work on it. 😦
As for me, I have been down, crying a lot lately, about the situation with my daughters, & what I referred to the other day as the abominable lies the enemy is spreading. I need to stir up my faith & “snap out” of this.
Lee was just telling me that praying for God’s will to be done means that when something like this (the route not selling yet) happens, we can feel disappointment for a while, but not be angry at God for not doing it “our way”. We may be disappointed & weary, but we also know that this is part of God’s timing & will. As difficult as it may be now, it will work out for our good in the end. (But let’s be honest – the waiting really is hard.)

We would all be in quite the mess if God did things our way. Praying with you.

Yippee! Daughter nailed her interview and it looks like she’s got an EMT job–in east LA, Donna.
