A little while back, Lee had a stress test. Based on the results, our doctor is recommending he see a cardiologist. 😦
Of course, my main request is for the healing & strengthening of his heart, but also for our emotional/mental health (peace). Lee & I are both so overwhelmed by the problems in our lives that seem to be coming one after another, with no break in between.
Oh, also – The sale of Lee’s route is finally proceeding (it’s been a long process). We are feeling relief that it will be over somewhat soon (not sure when), but then there’s the concern about what kind of job he will get when it is time. Praying for a good job to come his way, “exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think” – well-paying & satisfying.
The latest problem to crop up…Driving back to the “barn”, as they call it (where the trucks are kept & such), Lee’s bread truck started acting funny, & he smelled something noxious. So now he is going to a place that rents those kind of box trucks, & he’ll take his truck to the place that fixes them. He told me the logistics of all that, but I don’t remember the exact details. Then he’ll need a ride back to his car at the “barn”, either from a friend in the area, or from Emily. So he’ll be home much later than usual today.
Praise God for what He has been doing in my husband. He is, of course, discouraged & disappointed by this latest truck problem, but he was able to say to me, “God is good.” 🙂
