Prayer Requests 3-25-15

It’s Wednesday, so don’t forget The Gambia.

Also, continuing prayers for Mike and family would be good. 🙂

Psalm 95

¹O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.

For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

11 Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

  1. Prayed for her last night when I woke up and couldn’t get back to sleep.

Continued prayers, also, for my friend Carol — I should hear more from her today about the lung “mass” which terrifies me for her. I’m guessing there will be more diagnostics ahead today. She put me down as her primary contact for the hospital and doctors (she has a brother but he’s in NJ).

Sounds like they sent her to a small hospital in LA (I’ve never heard of it) for those who can’t afford anything else (she’s on disability and has virtually no other money, so I’m not sure how treatment will play out if this is something serious, but she’s been given surgeries in the past that apparently have been at no charge to her).

  2. I just got a text from Mama Ruth’s daughter, R, who was feeding her lunch. She said Mama looks good and will probably stay another night in the hospital.
Thank you for praying although that doesn’t express our gratitude nearly enough.
