🙂 One of the daughters visiting with two of the grandchildren. Fun day planned with a tour of a forest history center and then a synchronized skating show. Just nice to be able to have some face to face time.
🙂 A bit of warm weather. It is always nice to get a taste of spring. Of course, everyone has cabin fever and the warm will not last for long. We will enjoy it while it is here, though.
🙂 We’ve had a week in the fifties, and most of our snow has finally melted. (My husband guessed that the drift across our yard behind the deck is still a foot and a half deep, and the back couple of yards of the yard still reach from one side of the fence to the other. So we still have two wide, deep stripes of snow, plus small scattered splotches between, a couple yards wide each. But probably 75% of the yard is now bare dried grass and mud, not snow.)
😦 No crocuses or other signs of spring yet. I find March long and hard to endure in states where spring doesn’t come until at least April and more commonly May.
😦 Had some frustrating lack of progress with the projects that were on my schedule this week (one initiated by me, one editing someone else’s work–the client is rethinking his project, which puts me on hold until he decides, and the project I was doing turns out to be impossible on my own current track).
🙂 My husband had very good success in his own projects this week, though, and that helps me to be more positive too.
🙂 And while I am waiting, I’m moving forward on other things that had been waiting for me to have time to get to them.

😦 Ooh, I still need to gather up my stuff to get the taxes done. I hate doing that and it’s easy to procrastinate for me. I was going to do it “early” this year, but it looks like I’m right on schedule. So again I’ll be part of the “worst of the tax season” for my poor guy.
😦 97 degrees here with not even a hint of a breeze. A friend from church asked if I wanted to go on a hike later today but I said NOOOOOoooooo. Not in this weather.
🙂 Got my other friend out shopping this morning, she had a Target gift card to use & I was able to pick up dish soap and dishwasher pods which I was almost out of. Now I suppose I have to do the dishes.
😦 Long drive to get to her, though. And the facility she’s in now doesn’t have an easy loading area, it’s all cramped and on a steep incline. One of these days I’m convinced her walker will get away from us & take off!
😦 🙂 She brought a lot of stuff with her to load into the Jeep along with the walker, which is her tendency, including 2 overstuffed totes & a heavy sweater and a sweatshirt. She said she also had a First Aid kit — just in case there was an earthquake while we were out shopping.
😦 Bad medical reports received by two friends this week. 😦
😦 I wouldn’t wish this rain on Donna.
We”ve had about three days of wet-nasty weather.
But only about half inch of real rain on the rain gauge.

😦 The bad news we got on Wednesday (about having to be more aggressive in battling Lee’s prostate cancer).
😦 Trying not to be fearful about that, but not doing too well.
🙂 Most of the time, I’m okay & don’t dwell on it.
🙂 Being able to pray with my husband, lifting all our burdens up to our Burden-Bearer.

🙂 I love hiking in extreme heat – I don’t know why. Of course, husband carries the water and an umbrella for shade when I want to rest 🙂

Haha well, I might be more game, too, if I had someone carrying my water and an umbrella for me
