Psalm 65
¹Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed.
2 O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.
3 Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away.
4 Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.
5 By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:
6 Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded with power:
7 Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.
8 They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.
9 Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.
10 Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.
11 Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.
12 They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.
13 The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.
I love that in our little community we have 3 days that we are reminded to pray for the 3 missions in our midst. It is easy to pray, “God, you know who your missionaries are and I am praying that you keep them safe” or whatever it is you pray for them…but it is so much more real when you know that you are praying for Joanne ( for me someone I have met and know to be “real”). To hear the stories directly from Jo and to know her past struggles and what led her to the mission field. And then there is our Mumsee. Oh how real she is. To me that is the best part, because she tells us the stories and asks us to pray for specific things and people but I see the faces and I have this picture stamped in my brain of her sitting in a canvas lawn chair with children all around her ….

Thank You for supplying needs all over the world today. Especially, i thank You for supplying needs of those mentioned by Kim. It is a blessing to hear how You are working in the lives of the ones we know here. I do pray that all the young ones settle in well to their rearranged rooms. May the rejoice in the benefits and overlook any annoyances. Please help Idaho Mike to be feeling better. And help the elderly family members to know what changes would be a benefit to. Ease them into the best situation to cause the least worries for all. I pray for similar help in Kathleen’s family. Please ease the tension and stress felt on finding workable solutions in dwindling good options.
Lord, I thank You for Jo and all the good she does in the world. You have given her new life with You as her firm foundation. Thank You for her support system, both emotional and financial.. Thank You for her growing family and the love they show her
Lord, You know what 6 Arrow’s concern has been with her daughter. Please help her feel continuing peace over leaving it be for now, and give her new prompts if she needs later to broach the subject.
Thank You for the healing process You set in motion for AJ’s mom. May her pain lessen quickly and may wounds heal without infection. May swelling be minor and any drainage complete as needed. Thank You for the wonderful doctors and staff who are thorough and precise in surgery. You have given so many wonderful gifts to the people of Your creation.
Thank You for helping me have insight and direction on the article I wrote. You provided the right scripture at the right time for me to use. You meet our needs in so many ways!
Please help Kbells family with what all they are facing. Please help them cover all the bases with limited resources. It seems impossible, but You are the One who gives breakthrough solutions.
Help us each to press forward in Your good will and staying straight on Your path this day.
