still no renters for my home, so no rent for this month yet and there is probably work that needs to be done too.
The good news is that the house is empty and, provided I have the energy, I can go over and go through the house thoroughly. Just really look at how things are there since it has been ten years.
Just wanted to report that it’s raining in California. It’s a “Pineapple Express,” which means it’s warm rain (unfortunate for nonexistent snow pack in mountains), but we’re “supposed” to get 5 inches or so for which I, for one, am thankful.
God is merciful to us–not because we deserve his blessings.
Just got this message from a family member, Jill. In her mid-thirties, third and last child:
Hi cousin Michelle,
I’m in need of serious prayers…
Baby has wrapped his cord around his neck 2x and there’s nothing that can be done at this point except to monitor me closely with NST’s.
I have been praying by some miraculous chance he untangles himself

Trying to be optimistic and put all my faith in God. Having a hard time.

Jill just filled me in on a little more. She’s got a c-section slated for April 6. OB is telling her it’s too early to do anything and ultrasound shows blood moving freely to the baby. She gets to spend the weekend monitoring kicks, praying and hoping things will get better. There are other challenges in this pregnancy, and this just adds another stress level. Some of this will understand this only too well. Thanks for prayers.

Hubby has a job interview at 12:30 central and I have a meeting with siblings about Mama this afternoon.
