“Several members of the media are criticizing President Barack Obama’s decision to skip an anti-terrorism march in Paris over the weekend, even as leaders from 44 other countries stood together in solidarity against the killing of 12 people at the Charlie Hebdo newspaper offices last week.

I heard on the news that it was on short notice, no invitation and security for him would have been a nightmare–which makes sense to me. Secretary Kerry “tried to get there,” but couldn’t make it.
Netanyahu, however, made it, which had to have been pretty brave.
I haven’t looked at photos, but I did wonder if any of the marchers were wearing burkas. A genuine question–I might have put one on for the occasion, just to make a point. No telling, however, if the point would have been recognized.
Meanwhile, what is Islam as a whole going to do about any of this? I realize there’s no single spokesman for the religion, but they’ve got a massive problem on their hands that they seem unwilling or just unable to address.
There will be a rally at the Georgia state capitol tomorrow afternoon regarding the fired Atlanta Fire Chief and religious freedom. Also a March down the street, just a few blocks, over to City Hall where the mayor’s office is located. Wonder if he will be there? I think this event may grow bigger. Also, the religious freedom bill that did not pass for the state of GA last year will surely pick up momentum for passing this year.
Another bill for this year is regarding medical marijuana. It sounds likely to pass because it is very restrictive.
