Prayer Requests 11-26-14

It’s Wednesday, so don’t forget to pray for the Gambia, and of course, Joanne.

Anyone else have something to share?

Psalm 142

¹I cried unto the Lord with my voice; with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication.

I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.

When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.

I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.

I cried unto thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.

Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

  1. Not much news on Dakotah. They are keeping her sedated because the machine is breathing for her, & she has gained 15 lbs. of fluid weight, which they are treating with some medicine to bring that down. Her parents are exhausted, as you may imagine.

I’ll wait for some bigger news to update next time, but I’ll let you know when I hear something.

  2. Heavenly Father, Thank You for the peace each believer feels in relation to their status with You. The wrestling is over. Jesus won which meant a win/win situation for us. Thank You that we trust in the salvation You gave us. We know what a blessing it is and we want it for others in our realms of influence…please may the ones we recognized as unsaved quickly know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Please bring the light of Jesus to conquer the darkness in their lives.

Lord, I pray for those who have loved ones hospitalized at this season of Thanksgiving and Christmas. Especially I pray for those burdened by sick children. How difficult their load is. Please give them comfort and rest. May the health of their children improve.

Lord, I pray for safety in travels and praise You for safe arrivals. Thank You for our modern methods of travel that allow people to visit far away relatives in comfortable seating.

Lord, please help people tomorrow to really go all out to forgive past hurts. I pray love between people at the tables across our nation will be transpire in relationships that were thought to be irreconcilable. Only through Your divine power can that happen. Please may disputes, cutting remarks, disrespect, and rudeness be silenced as people focus on You and the blessings You have given.

Please continue to bless the people of The Gambia and those who are missionaries in that nation. May they recognize Your hand upon them as they go into life each day. May they understand abundant life and that Jesus is the way to You and the fullness of life that He alone gives. Please bless Jo as she prepares for her upcoming travels. Please give Donna good rest and good company during her time off.

Thank You, Abba, for the blessing of this blog and all AJ does to maintain it.

I pray with desire to see the best answers You will give based upon our sincere requests. In Jesus’ name, I pray Your will be done. Amen
