Prayer Requests 10-15-14

Today is Wednesday, so don’t forget to pray for the Gambia.

Anyone else have something to share?

Psalm 106:1-8

¹Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Who can utter the mighty acts of the Lord? who can shew forth all his praise?

Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

Remember me, O Lord, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;

That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.

We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.

Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.

Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.

  1. Lee is talking on the phone with a man who is interested in possibly buying a route. It sounds like maybe the man would like to ride with Lee for a day to see what it is like. He’s not asking specifically about Lee’s route, but…

Praying that this man will decide to buy Lee’s route. Above all, may God’s will be done in this.

  2. Lord, we pray you’d be with Janice and her husband there in the hospital. We ask that you’d give the doctors and staff imagination as they combat the bacterial skin infection. We pray the meds they use will be effective and have no side affects. We thank you for modern medicine, modern technology and pray you’d fill that hospital room with your peace.

And give Janice’s editor grace in regards to the project due today.

And for the others who are suffering maladies of various kinds and difficulties, I pray you would move in their lives as well–healing where it is in your will, granting peace through all. Use these times to increase their recognition of your role in their lives that you may receive the glory, all the glory is yours, Jesus.

And also–those fleeing despots bent on killing them all over the world. Lord have mercy.

    Amen.

  4. Praying, Jo.

Prayers have been offered for you and your husband, Janice. I read a little about cellulitis today–you must be scared. I would be. Getting to know you on this blog has been a real pleasure, and you’ve been on my heart all day.

KarenO: I will pray for Lee tonight (and perhaps early tomorrow morning). I sure hope things work out for him regarding this.
