Could you please pray for my wife Cheryl, who left work early yesterday because she wasn’t feeling well. She’s still sick today so has taken a sick day. Thanks.
Last night on the prayer thread, I wrote that our dear EYG had posted about their bulldog, Winston, missing, possibly stolen (his tether was intact). She was devastated.
Before the night was out, Winston had been found, due to a flurry of activity on social media. 🙂
She commented, “He is found!! It’s a miracle involving twitter, FB, the police, an animal hospital, a concerned citizen and countless prayers! We are grateful but spent!!”
I am so happy Winston was found, but obviously not as happy as they are. 🙂
A good night of sleep last night, without concerns of somebody wandering around, showing up in various bedrooms. Lots of stories of him appearing in the middle of the night in various places. We knew he was wandering at night, outside wandering is permitted, but were not aware he was showing up in people’s rooms through locked doors. Time to step up the locks.
As always, God brings out the Truth in His time. Thanks for praying for us.
I saw that last night, too, Karen — spotted the “he is found” post before I even saw that they’d posted their dog was missing.
Continued prayers for my friend Norma who sees the surgeon today — and for my other friend, Carol, who last I heard (yesterday) had gone back to the ER as her abdominal surgical wound still isn’t healing correctly. She called as she was waiting for the doctor to come in and I haven’t heard whether they admitted her or sent her home. Just texted to her this morning. But I’m concerned that this just doesn’t seem to be healing like it should.
