Prayer Requests 10-6-14

Anyone have a request or praise they’d like to share?

Psalm 98

¹O sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.

The Lord hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.

He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.

Sing unto the Lord with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.

With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.

Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together

Before the Lord; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.

  1. I copied this from yesterday’s prayer thread because I really need wisdom:
Major prayer concern here. Nothing new, but one of the sixteen year old boys has been making moves on the thirteen year old and seven year old. Sneaking around where he should not be. He has been diagnosed as a potential predator and has a history of it. We are adding more door alarms. All of the girls are in one room and their room is locked. Just another day at the Nest and now you know a little more of why we need your prayers. Thanks.

  2. The neighbor will be having him spend the night until husband gets home. And any time he is not working. We will still lock the doors but won’t have to sit up nights. Thanks all.

  3. We now have a public statement that I will share with you all. Thanks for praying.
In response to recent, escalating criminal activity directed at the SIL community in Ukarumpa, the Branch Administration has decided to proactively implement a series of self-imposed restrictive measures aimed at reducing crime. Starting Friday, the 10th of October, the produce market on centre will be closed. This action is designed to bring peer pressure on those responsible for recent crimes through the villages in which they reside. It is hoped that these same communities will benefit in equal measure from the cessation of criminal activity to which they too are exposed. Please pray for all members of the Aiyura valley who are affected. Also pray for the victims and the perpetrators of these crimes. Pray for the community’s resolve to follow through with this course of action
