I am feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the prayer needs around me. My friend Karen is still in a lot of pain from her surgery. I have been asked to keep the upcoming CLI dinner in Charlotte covered with prayer. And other things, too. Also, I am feeling burdened over Sunday School lately. Please pray for me to have spiritual stamina. Thank you.
Lord, we lift up our dear friend, Janice, today, just as she has lifted all of us up in the past. Thank you for her heart for prayer. Thank you that she is able to share her prayers on this blog and that she does it in such a humble way. Help her to rely on You and to know that You are her strength. Give her wisdom for her Sunday School class. Bless her today and lift her up. Amen
Please be in prayer as we are having a Town Meeting tomorrow, Monday. Pray for wisdom and that we would be in agreement on the decisions that are made.
Thank you for praying. Sunday school went well today. I have asked for a few weeks off just to have a break because we have not really taken a vacation this year. Also, the church library where I use to work some has a lot of water damage and needs to be cleaned up and have books tossed. I have not found another time to help with that so I may take my break in there. One of the issues for me is that because we have two classes combined because of not enough teachers, that means teaching 1st through 6th grade and having some of the children through all that time. Six years with some is a bit much even when you love them! They probably would appreciate seeing someone other than me sometimes, too! I know I taught my son for 1st through 12th, but it is different when it’s your own child.
Major prayer concern here. Nothing new, but one of the sixteen year old boys has been making moves on the thirteen year old and seven year old. Sneaking around where he should not be. He has been diagnosed as a potential predator and has a history of it. We are adding more door alarms. All of the girls are in one room and their room is locked. Just another day at the Nest and now you know a little more of why we need your prayers. Thanks.
