Praying for Jo’s safety and well-being while laboring in PNG, as well as for the people among whom she works and lives.
Please pray for the family of a courageous young boy in our area who lost his 15-month battle with cancer this week. He was eight years old and the youngest of five children. They are all believers, and have the comfort of knowing he is home with the Lord, but his passing is understandably heart-wrenching.
We have a full table of 10 for tonight’s event! PTL! He does often wait until the very last minute to act. He likes to keep us talking to Him as we wonder if He will come through for us.
I lift up the family mentioned by 6 Arrows. They have been through such a heart wrenching ordeal. How tired they must feel along with their sadness. Please comfort, refresh, and love on them in the ways they need. Keep their faith and witness strong day by day. Help their friends to know what to do and say to help them in the days and months to come, especially during the holiday season. Thank You for heaven and its many good promises.
In Jesus’name, Amen
Husband is home. His plane got in half an hour early. I thought it was odd to have two planes landing within half an hour of each other. Turned out they took off ten minutes early and made up more time. And I was there because when I went to the drug store, which was open, I learned that the pharmacy closed half an hour earlier. So we had to stay in town extra long in the morning to pick up the meds. He is feeling much better now. Thanks for praying.
Praises: I spoke to my principal about several things yesterday and he told me that he wants me to take my furlough in December so that I will be back to teach a very large class in July. So glad that the decision has been made. No, there is no teacher yet for my class, but he feels that everything will be okay. This class is actually doing quite well and is fairly small. I will have 14 this term and we still only go until noon.
